BTS of "Back to the Dark Ages" (watch the film in link in bio) community care wasn't just a message on screen, but an ethos we adopted throughout our production process.
Thank you to @AptitudeMetrix for providing us with a sponsorship that included their new Gen 2 COVID + Flu molecular testing system. The new tests are a game changer because they only take 20 minutes (compared to 30+), efficiency that is critical on tight timelines like the one we faced for @disabilityfilmchallenge.
COVID safety is a multi layered approach so we also masked during higher risk shots (indoors with windows closed, cuz sound) and unmasked for less risky environments like our beautiful day filming in Central Park.
This plus UV filtration and common sense protocols like asking people to stay home if feeling sick, meant that everyone could participate safely on set, including our team members with Long COVID and other higher risk disabilities.
Grateful for my village that genuinely cares for each other's health and safety.
