Also the biggest one I left out I think we're near 100% now with simulator accuracy to live results since the date of rolling the new changes out Robinhood also progressing very well Won't be long at all before SOL PNLs are flying constantly, clogging the chat Except 2 differences 1) profitability will be much more consistent 2) this time with Robinhood PNLs too Closing in on being able to go nuts with this, a load of grunt work will be 100% worth it Position accordingly

We continue taking steps forward in ensuring we're positioned to be the #1 automated trading platform across the entire space
Disgustingly large 7 days, another disgustingly large 7 days coming up. Gunna cover 3 things here: v2 Metrics Status Robinhood Personal Note & Commitment โ€”โ€”โ€”- v2 Metrics - I certainly understated the size of this task. But, the vast majority of the long stuff is done. Where we're currently at: - 100+ v2 metrics are currently live and being ingested - All of which containing health tags - Health tags update live and inform users on their status to communicate better around their performance in delivering information - We now ingest data in real-time, on every single trading event. Instead of in longer time buckets (1min+) - The algorithm simulator now too correlates 1:1, backtesting data in real-time on every single trading event, before it would be at different time buckets or drift in time delay causing inaccurate results. Solved. - In the process of matching up old metric names to be 1:1 with how they are now on v2. The new ones are named to be much more understandable. Issue: When using the algorithm simulator on longer time frames with v2, you may see inaccuracies. I am doing my absolute best and trying various different methods to patch up historical data to match 1:1 with the current, but it is proving to be near-impossible to provide the 100% accuracy we're looking for, as it stands, i'd say it's at 50% if you used timeframes from back in August. As of September 2nd Onwards - it should be over +99% accurate to what you see and what you receive.. I'll keep you posted on success in historical dates, but please take this into account. I will place a notice on the algorithm simulator page. There were user complaints about most metrics being 'quality related' and little/if any, being time related. I am looking to have these ingesting and live on the platform by the end of today. - Average Position Size - Average Position Size (Humans) - Average Position Size (Bots) - Human Trader Patience - Profitable Human Share - Profit Concentration - Human Money Velocity - Market Cap - Market Cap Change (10m) - Net Buy Volume - Price (SOL) - Total Supply - Token Decimals - Launch Liquidity - Highest Price Seen - Net Sell Volume - Market Cap at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m - Net Buy Volume at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m - Net Sell Volume at 15m / 30m / 45m / 60m These should allow you to determine well with lots of selection on the type of timing you'd like your algorithm to be signalling. Ingestion would probably begin here on 4th September, take that into account for the algorithm simulator. I'll note that too on the platform so it's clear. Please over the next few days expect a few the odd hiccup & discrepencacy here and there. I'm aware of all of them and acting on all of them. โ€”โ€”โ€”- Robinhood: Simply put - the market is going wild there, nobody has even attempted to provide fully automated trading there yet. The opportunity is amazing. It felt wasted to not continue in rolling the ball there, there is a ton of volume & eyeballs. I've continued on with Robinhood development whilst tackling v2 work. Completed: - Wallet sign-in - Visual algorithm builder using the live signals - Backtesting against real historical chain data - Publish an algorithm to a marketplace - Browse published algorithms - Token pages with live price charts and historical candles - AutoTrader Terminal - Public signal-health page showing which metrics are trustworthy - 48 metrics, live & ingesting as of today, 4th September. What remains: - Live trading - Algorithm pages - Remaining metrics (want to launch at 75+) I recognize the rush here & impact this would have in launching ASAP. To speak candidly, there is a shit ton of money & eyeballs on the table here, no promises but I shall try get this out at some point later next week. โ€”โ€”โ€”- Finally to face things head on - I think this v2 release is the first time we've seen eyebrows raised from the community, almost unanimously. Firstly, to be absolutely clear - this update is a MUST for Occam to scale properly. Simply put, old data was too inconsistent and dirty. No chance of scaling to 1000+ daily concurrent users with that. I'm not building Occam to stay at 50+ daily users or even 250+. The addressable market and usecases here are so much larger. If it means a turbulent week in order to lift the covers on what we can achieve, then i'd do it 100x over. Under fire of criticism or not. I have put the best part of 2 years now into Occam, with 5 years of solely building automated trading solutions in specifically onchain crypto markets. And over 10+ years of building and deliver crypto related software programs around markets, data & trading. Occam has now seen over 7figs of spend. For those that have seen how i've worked before, you'll know this - but for those that haven't - i'm nowhere near happy sitting at prices these levels, and i'll work my ass off to ensure we're nowhere near these price levels, as soon as possible. I love building, but my favourite thing is growth & marketing related stuff. I'm itching to get to that. Step forward every day, hit me with any and all criticism, feedback, questions whenever you want. I'll always respond. If I don't, i'm acting on them and building out solutions. Alright that's enough yapping Back to work - lots to do as always!

We released v2 metrics last night which should give the platform some much needed: > consistency > reliability Community & holders were patient, I believe is probably the final 'foundational' update needed Allows us to now get to the flashy features that can grow us vertically Very excited to start marketing a platform like this and bringing eyeballs and being solely focussed on growth related items, that's my favourite thing to do Tying up the edges for this v2 release today then I think it may be helpful to release our 'vertical roadmap & plan of attack + timings' so everything is up to speed on the weeks ahead?

IMPORTANT: Metrics v2 - Details: Metrics v2 is shortly going to be released tomorrow morning. Please note - there are some significant changes we are making, for the better of the ecosystem as we head into the future Profitability *CONSISTENCY* is the key priority here. 1) Old metrics will be wound down across the next 24 with older algorithms tagged appropriately. Ideally we allowed both v1 & v2 to run, but transparently - it'd be financially crippling to run, ingest & provide both. This means, v1 algorithms will no longer be signalling - it'll be v2 from here on out. 2) Many of the algorithms metrics provided are new. We have culled many that were useless or unhealthy. We are now ONLY providing ones with healthy data ingestion. As a user, you should find much more value in these from attributing value to every single metric offered, alongside consistency in their output. No more blackouts! No more surprises! 3) Algorithm Simulator Accuracy - On launch, accuracy will range between 80-90%. As each day goes on, historical data should apply 1:1 and we'll slowly creep up to 100% on each timeframe. To give some background. Backfilling data can be done only in 60-second buckets. The v2 metrics occur in real-time (every trade event) That difference in time may cause the odd bit of variance. 4) Health tags - each metric will now contain a health tag updated daily so you know if its data is currently reliable or unhealthy. 5) Proper Ranges - the ranges now apply more effectively to every metric. Before, it would be very lopsided. 6) Future flexibility - the addition of new metrics and user requests is now much easier. That includes tackling the lower MCAP / pre graduation launch tokens (finally!) We are planning to roll this out LIVE early tomorrow with some additional rewards for those algorithm creators producing something popular.

We then pooled each of these algorithms into 6 different categories, alongside 6 different AnchorMode settings. These 6 different AnchorMode settings, favour different algorithm designs overtime. We are ensuring & automated even the decision process in knowing your always running the best exit strategy best suited for the algorithm your running. I hope this isn't seen as constantly moving the dial, but rather getting our absolute foundations set. One of the most vocal complaints we've been having, is the *INCONSISTENCY* of profitability. In our research, we've found much of this to lie within metrics often dying, going unavailable or just not working right. It meant algorithms would sometimes signal 10/day for a week straight then go quiet for weeks. I touched on it earlier, but alongside AnchorMode this is now the #1 priority. > Releasing Metrics v2 > Releasing AnchorMode Covers both bases: 1) Consistently profitable algorithms that can be trusted over longer periods of times. 2) Consistently optimal exits on these algorithms so you know you're getting the most out of price movement. I'm personally working on both of these +16h a day - looking to have both rolled out ASAP. Maybe together? More details & difference in results to come.
Occam - Current Priorities: Gunna run through exciting things but also user complaints and what we can do to improve. Firstly - things users aren't happy about. 1. Inconsistency in simulations Whilst I do like to think there has been a vast improvement over the last few weeks, there are still ocassions where simulations significantly over perform actual users results, it leads to dissastification when actually running the platform, here's how I can improve it: > Add platform fees to be included in all trade simulations > Currently, the signal MCAP is being used as gospel. This should be changed to 'Actual Entry MCAP' which takes a TWAP from the first few blocks post entry to apply some pessimisim. 2. Metrics Health They are too inconsistent. Frequently in the past they have died for a few days, contain results that don't make sense, or simply just don't work. It is a monstrous task in itself, managing the health of 100+ different metrics and it'll be a task to improve this - but it's doable. Everything is always doable. An immediate solution I propose, is some kind of tag on the metric if we are detecting an unhealthy data pipeline on it currently, or is currently dead. Alongside a status page to also reflect these in a list so it is clear. However, it doesn't solve the consistency problem for currently running algorithms. For that, the uptime & data health for this really needs to improve and that is acknolwedged as a full priority, though may require a bit of time. -------------- So, before I go onto the flashy things I think it's worth commenting on how the business should be ran. I largely agree that before we can run, we must learn to walk. And all the above are the key things that must be fixed for us to be able to run properly. But equally, early days of a project being live are super important to continue momentum and sustain reason to hold the token and deliver marketing features. Crypto is an eyeball game, and that must be sustained for us to even exist. Newer features, e.g Anchormode - help in that. There is a pool of users consistently DMing requesting featues like this. And another pool looking for the sustainable foundations. We will do our best to balance the both. -------------- Next; Momentum Features: 1. AnchorMode You all know what this is by now and probably just want to see results & it's release - here's our status. We are currently running and testing hundreds of different configurations in finding things that are consistent in it's profitability amongst many different time tranches amongst many different algorithms. This is taking slightly longer than I hoped, but the quality will be worth it in building it out much further than initially specced. Please bare with me here whilst we finish off the system for AnchorMode to adapt & provide the best settings based off of our analysis on the algorithms you're running it on. 2. FOMO Early days but we're looking at implementing a large chunk of metrics built around FOMO for you to build your algorithms and AutoTrade from. Analysing their thesis, which profile has shared the thesis, their performance, who's entered in with them etc etc Though, this will only be delivered should we see it has a positive impact & the data pipelines can be done with 100% health so you can trust it's accuracy. 3. Robinhood Simply put - another chain, more volume, more opportunity at profitability, better platform volume, better buybacks into $OCCAM, more eyeballs onto the business. -------------- Tldr; so much going on, every hour of the week. Important to acknowledge consistency & accuracy even more, whilst also keeping business & attention momentum going with flashy features. All is being done, one step in front of the other. All with the timeline of ASAP in mind, no slowing down.
