1/$351.6 million left Bitget on Thursday. The exchange says you did not lose anything. Both of those are true, and the gap between them is the whole story.

3/The part worth understanding: No private keys were stolen. Bitget says a back-end system was compromised and transaction data spoofed to push withdrawals through its own authorization. The coins never needed the keys to move.

4/The reassurance. CEO Gracy Chen says cold wallets and user funds are safe. A User Protection Fund of about $464 million, larger than the amount taken, covers it in full.

The $VAR farm everyone "missed" just got extended. TGE: Q4 2026. Airdrop: 32% of supply. Prepare for generational airdrop. Its not too late. @variational_io

600 BTC just moved aftyer 14 years! At 07:22 UTC on Monday, 600 bitcoin left a wallet that had sat still for 14.2 years, in block 968116. Galaxy Research put the cost basis at about $8 a coin. They were worth roughly $52 million when they moved, a realized gain of $48.71 million, or 1,063,304%. Here is the part the headline skips. The coins went to a fresh address, not a named exchange. Moved is not sold. Vintage supply has to reach an exchange before it can be sold there, and no such deposit has been reported.

1/The ether is leaving the exchange. Withdrawals off Binance are running near 90,000 a month, about double where they started the year and the most in three years. Coins in a private wallet are coins that cannot be sold off the order book.

$846 Million In liquidations! How it happened: spot buying cleared the $82,000 area and forced more than $230M of bitcoin shorts to close. Stop orders carried it through $84,000 from there. About $846M of shorts were liquidated across the market in twenty four hours. Somebody was already buying. Strategy disclosed 950 BTC bought between 14 and 20 September at an average of $79,670, accumulated into the week before the move rather than after it. Fear and Greed now reads 78, Extreme Greed, the first such reading of this run. It was 50 and Neutral five days ago. NFA.

1.67 billion XPL opens on 25 September. Plasma's team and investor cliff. 1/3 of the team allocation and 1/3 of the investor allocation, together, on the 1 year anniversary of the mainnet beta launch. The numbers Float today: 2.78B XPL, $269.5M market cap, $970.3M fully diluted The cliff: 1,666,666,667 XPL, exactly 60% of the float, about $162M at $0.097. Float after: 4.44B, a 1.6x expansion, still only 44% of total supply liquid Context: XPL hit $1.68 on 27 Sep 2025 and sits 94% below it. Trackers count the monthly tranches that land alongside. Plasma's docs give the cliff alone. And every dollar figure is stale the moment the price moves: one tracker says $158M, which implies $0.0898 against $0.097 today.

Bitcoin printed $82,074 in the 01:00 UTC hour, the highest it has been since 3 September and $214 under that day's high of $82,288. It closed the same hour at $80,981. That is $1,093 handed back inside sixty minutes, on 199 BTC against an average of 78 across the eleven hours before it. That makes three sessions in a row pressing this area and failing. Friday stopped at $81,915. Saturday managed $81,458. This morning went furthest and still did not clear the 3rd. Elsewhere, three funded projects announced they are closing in the same week. Switchboard, Linera and Universal raised $28 million between them.

Eleven days below $80,000. One hour took it back. Bitcoin spent eleven sessions closing under $80,000. On Friday the 13:00 UTC hour opened at $77,979 and printed a high of $80,432, trading 535 BTC against an average of 93 across the six hours before it. It closed that hour at $80,005, up 4.4% on the day. Ether is up 3.8% to $2,553. This is not a record and we are not going to pretend it is. September's high was $82,288 on the 3rd. What changed is that eleven days of selling below a round number ended in sixty minutes. Swipe for the level the tape walked into, and why Tokyo mattered more than it looks. Not financial advice.
