I was 18 when I walked into Jack Kemp's office in 1980. He was turning Art Laffer's napkin sketches into legislation that changed America. For 40 years, we forgot what they proved: supply-side works. Demand management doesn't. ✅ That era ends now. The producers are about to run. ⚡🏔️ Read “Deflationary Boom: Year One” — 2026 Outlook | BlueBird Market Commentary bluebirdadvisory.com/the-def…

Aner Shapiro bravely fought Hamas on October 7th, heroically throwing back seven grenades tossed by Hamas into a bomb shelter full of hiding Israelis. The 8th grenade killed him. Remember him.

It is interesting to me how poll defenders are now discounting Early Vote/Mail analysis where we have it with meaningful numbers. I remember being right here in 2024 watching a bunch of accounts no one ever heard of shred the living hell out of the poll-obsessed pundits and aggregators who do nothing but stick polls in a model. We knew NC was going for Trump because it was R+2 in early voting when it had always been D+ when he won it twice before. Florida was something ungodly R (also predictive I’m 2020/22 returns), and AZ was R+8. Harris didn’t make her PA firewall, and in NV, the GOP killed it so big in mail and early even their biggest homers conceded Trump would win it. Now FL is flat compared to 2024, and even if we concede a few points to a midterm drift, it’s going straight red for all offices and may even hold up enough to flip the new FL-25. Dems look like grim death in Ohio mail requests, lagging 2022/24, which they lost. And now there will soon be a lot more data. People discounting these analysts are doing nothing but propping up a dying industry now marred by the very likely possibility people are using it to rig betting markets and get filthy rich.

I saw #Digger with my son today. Batshit crazy film. But it makes you think. We talked about it for a long time afterwards... can't say that about many films these days. Cruise is fantastic.

There's an entirely new auto market being opened up by FSD. My wife and I moved into a retirement community last year, and we were joined by my brother and his wife. Our homes are almost next door to each other. Being longtime Tesla owners, we joined the EV group that meets once a month and shares information. I offered to talk about my experience with FSD, and they were excited to hear about it. So I prepared some slides and videos, freely purloined from the great material on X. The results were pretty astounding. The average monthly meetup usually had, perhaps, a couple of dozen people. Instead, the meeting notice talking about FSD drew a packed house of perhaps a hundred people, and we had to turn people away as the room was full. Well, that was last quarter's meeting. This quarter's meeting was held last week, to a significantly expanded group. And what did we hear? We heard about a couple that had stopped driving, their car sitting parked because they felt too unsure of themselves to drive. After my presentation, they traded in their vehicle for a Tesla with FSD, and now they are at about 97.5% on FSD and feel that they have been liberated. When I asked "why only 97.5%," they explained that the car lost its way in their underground parking garage (they live in the apartment section of the community). I explained that they could drop a pin on their actual parking spot rather than the address, and that may solve their problem. What struck me even more than the people who bought new Teslas after the presentation was how many seniors talked about their own FSD experience, and how many of them were achieving mid- to high-90% FSD driving. There was uniform enthusiasm for the product and for what it meant for them in their senior years. That matters in what is rapidly becoming an aging population.

The first 18 years of David Vélez's life were unconventional, to say the least. > Born in Medellín, Colombia > age 5, start work at father's button factory (all 15 of his aunts and uncles were also entrepreneurs) > age 6, sleep on floor while Escobar bombs Medellín > age 8, move to Costa Rica > work in dad's new button factory > age 12, buy cow from dad > breed cows, grow investment > age 18, sell six cows > go to Stanford You can also listen to the entire story as an audiobook wherever you get your podcasts. open.spotify.com/episode/1Vj…
David Vélez is the founder of Nubank, a bank with 140 million customers and a market capitalization of $60 billion. When he started the business in 2013, no one thought it would work, not even his investors. He has faced down regulators, oligopolies, and corruption to build Latin America's largest digital bank. Now he is bringing Nubank to the United States, where he faces his biggest challenge yet. @gabi_imarques, who grew up four miles from Nubank's headquarters in Brazil, spent time with @velez_david in São Paulo, where the business started, and in Miami, its latest beachhead. She profiles a man who is no stranger to a fight, having grown up in Medellín, Colombia, when the city was at war with Pablo Escobar. Six-year-old Vélez would pull on layers of sweaters before stepping outside, hoping, as a child might, that the extra padding would cushion any bullets. colossus.com/article/david-v…

Jason Oppenheim, founder of Oppenheim Group ($5B+ in real estate sales), just sold his Bentley for a @Tesla Model Y and is so blown away by FSD that he’s buying Teslas for 10 employees: "This is the most important video I've ever posted. Tesla's self-driving is life-changing. It's so safe. I was on the phone with my brother last night, and I made him buy one. He literally bought one while we were talking. I'm buying 10 of my employees a Tesla with FSD. It's 8x safer than the average driver. There's nothing more important than the safety of you and your loved ones. Let's make our communities safer. I hope you'll at least consider going and getting a test drive." I've been saying for a couple months now that FSD has become a material driver of Tesla sales in North America. Some people said it's just been anecdotal evidence, but more and more videos and stories like this are popping up. It's not anecdotal anymore. Word is spreading fast. FSD is going mainstream. Jason's full video linked in thread below.

Every morning, before my kids even leave for school, Grok Bot has already made and printed a math worksheet specifically for each of them based on what they’ve been working on at school and what they missed the day before. My younger son is 5 yrs old, in kindergarten, so his sheet has 30-40 problems personalized for his level, yet challenges him on the things he missed the day before. His addition can go past 10, but subtraction starts small, usually from 10 or under, and only moves up a little once he’s consistently getting those right. His newest sheet, for example, has problems like 15 − 8, but that came after working through the smaller ones first. It changes every day. My older son is 8 yrs old, in third grade, and his worksheet is 25 problems. What I like most is that for the harder problems he misses, Grok Bot keeps mixing them back in differently over the next few days, whether it’s perimeter, area, larger multiplication problems, or word problems where he earns more points at school. If he misses that type of problem once, there’s a good chance he’s seeing it again the next morning - it doesn't forget. When they finish their worksheets, I take a picture of each worksheet and send it back to Grok Bot. That’s what it uses to build the next one, so it already knows which problems they got right, where they struggled, and what should come back again instead of starting from scratch every day. This is better than any math book I've ever bought for them bc Grok Bot writes a new one, tailored for each of them overnight, and when I go downstairs around 6am, these worksheets are already printed and waiting... every single day. Then during the ride to school I use Grok in my Tesla for anything we need to dive into. I'm so proud of my kids... and I have a BIG prize waiting for them when they reach worksheet milestones I've set for them. Grok Bot is so awesome.

Tesla FSD is autonomously driving us through heavy Bay Area traffic to my kids’ basketball practice. Starlink is beaming us unlimited high-speed internet from space. My significant other is leading an important meeting on her computer and desk. My kids are learning and watching their favorite show with Mark Rober. And I’m just sitting here thinking… how is this real life? This is what I love about Tesla and SpaceX. Their products bring the future into the present. It really feels like I’m living in 2069.

“The Darwinian mechanism cannot be the explanation for life.” Douglas Axe says the scientific establishment is clinging to an explanation that the evidence itself no longer supports. And he argues the problem is even bigger than Darwin. “If these targets are as infinitesimally small as the evidence indicates, then you can’t have any natural cause for them, whether Darwinian or not.” “Because you have to explain how did a cause that didn’t know where it’s going land in exactly the spot that it should have landed in.” “So that’s going to be a problem for any naturalistic explanation.” @dougaxe

AN OREGON MAN PINNED UNDER A BOULDER WHILE FISHING ALONE SAVED HIS OWN LIFE BY ASKING SIRI TO CALL 911. His family says the rock he was sitting on shifted and trapped him, and nobody else was around to help. Thankfully he had his Bluetooth earbuds in, so he could still call for help even though he couldn't move. Police tracked him down by honking their horns and asking over the phone whether he could hear them. Officers and Coast Guard crews worked together to free him, and he's now in the hospital recovering from severe facial injuries. That's a scary reminder to always tell somebody where you're going when you head out alone. God was watching over this man, and I'm praying for a full and fast recovery.
