WHEN THE DOG HANDLER SAID “HOLD UP,” YOU STOPPED. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. 🐾🇺🇸 That dog just picked up something the rest of us missed. Could be an IED. Could be an ambush. Either way, you weren't taking another step until that K9 team cleared the way. Those dogs walked the same dangerous roads, dealt with the same heat, dust, and gunfire, and never once asked why. And their handlers? They trusted those dogs with their lives. So did we. Some of us made it home because a four-legged warrior caught something we didn't. MUCH RESPECT TO THE DOG HANDLERS AND MILITARY WORKING DOGS OF THE GWOT. 👇 GWOT VETS — DID A K9 TEAM EVER SAVE YOUR ASS OUTSIDE THE WIRE?
