Stairway to Whimsy is now available for purchase on @redrose_anna’s website! I took this photo at historic Coggshall Park in Fitchburg… roughly 60 miles outside of Boston. The drive was well worth it because it is truly a lovely place. This staircase was one of my favorite features.

Question for married women who have gone from long hair to very short hair, especially something like a pixie cut: Suppose your husband told you honestly that he hated your hair short. He told you that he found you less attractive and less feminine with short hair, that he strongly preferred you with long hair, and that he wished you would grow it back out. How would you react? Would his opinion matter to you? Would you grow your hair back out because you knew he preferred it, or would you keep it short because you preferred it that way? Would you be hurt or offended that he told you, or would you appreciate knowing honestly what your husband found attractive? I am genuinely curious how women would respond to that kind of feedback from their husbands, especially women who have actually made this change.
