This is incorrect, and so are all the people trying to say "oxtails" is Black American while "oxtail" is Caribbean, I definitely grew up in South Carolina referring to oxtail, neckbone etc. I'm sure linguists have a name for that or something. Either way, Afro-America is a big place.
