You arenโt needy, embarrassing, or childish for wanting affection, reassurance, and attention from your partner. Wanting to feel loved isnโt automatically a sign of insecurity or emotional baggage. These are normal needs in a romantic relationship.
Of course, your partner shouldnโt be responsible for your entire happiness or expected to meet every emotional need you have. But in a healthy relationship, showing affection, offering reassurance, and making your person feel valued shouldnโt feel like an exhausting obligation.
It should be something you genuinely enjoy doing because you love them and want them to feel it.
