I know it sounds so stupid but I literally haven’t touched the game in a year and it’s mostly due to the fact that nerfs are a shit show. 10 years of playing this game just to be forced out because people want to call me a cheater.
SSBM Majors are taking no responsibility for making sure people understand how to actually install box nerfs
I own multiple boxes that I can't put the nerfs on and the third that I own I spent 2 hours trying to get them to work.
Why is it so hard to just play my favorite game??

I could always re-learn the game on nerfs, but I’m tired and don’t want to do that, plus it feels like I’m just gonna spend a bunch of effort for deeper nerfs to happen or full bans to happen.
I could re learn the game on controller, I don’t feel like doing that either.

If you look at total downloads from the latest box release, there has only been 317 downloads across the different release types.
If you look at all downloads since they stopped using the "test" moniker, there has been 705 downloads across 2 releases.
I would love to see actual numbers on box owners that
- no longer attend tournaments because of nerfs
- don't actually have nerfs and don't place well enough for it to matter at big tournaments and fly under the radar
- actually went through the process of installing nerfs

As a melee player who is hoping @RivalsOfAether 2 becomes a success.. PLEASE normalize player cams in your stream overlays. When I can't see the players there is absolutely 0 personality

Rivals devs should partner with Input Integrity developer, and make a tiny box that allows you to connect your controllers to it, as well as tap your phone to the top of it to transfer your profile (tag, controls, skins, effects, etc) to any console you play on.

2 major ranked bugs happened to me in @RivalsOfAether 2.
1. stage select screen was blank and i couldn't select anything. had to wait for time to run out
2. my controller would not input and game reverted to keyboard controls until the set ended then my controller worked again

I still feel like this is leaning towards unfair monetization? I was expecting more out of the free track. I think something that also feels bad is if i play for free I don't get what I want for my character? why can't the free skin be you choose 1 of everything you want?

I’m uncomfortable with the price of skins in Rivals of Aether II. I was happy to spend $30 on the game, and I am completely willing to spend money on transactions to keep the devs supported, but not when one skin costs $10-$15. Let me give you my money lol just respect my wallet
