According to various sources, Steve Ballmer owns roughly 332 million shares of $MSFT.
The $30 million fine levied against the Clippers is equivalent to about 60K $MSFT shares, or just 0.018% of his stake.
At Microsoft’s current dividend rate, Ballmer receives roughly $302 million in dividends per quarter.
In other words, the $30 million fine represents about 9 days’ worth of his $MSFT dividends.
