I'm seeing a lot of discourse about who WoW Forever is being made for and while I cannot speak for anyone else on the team I can speak for myself. I am making WoW forever for the classic gamer and for the millions of people who have had their accounts lapse over the years because they were not satisfied with changes that were made to the game. Whether those changes were to the art style, the story, social aspects, game design, or changes to their favorite class. I did not spend the last year of my life relearning and mastering how to do things like we did it 20+ years ago for retail players. I could have taken it easy and just kept doing things like I had done for the past 8 years on retail...because I was much more familiar with it and it actually takes a lot less time to do (height maps on textures do a ton of heavy lifting). Because the reality is that the majority of retail players wouldn't care and would probably actually prefer it. But I felt I had a duty to uphold an artistic vision and integrity that millions of people expect from us. But not just for our players, but for my co-workers past and present who worked on it over 20 years ago. If I could not create something that resembled their work then I failed not only them...but myself. Please do not take this as me throwing any shade at retail players or the retail team because I am one myself...but I wanted to make Forever as authentic of a Vanilla experience as possible. This involves making decisions wildly different than retail. It means holding the line against changes that create a domino affect down the road. It means keeping friction and inconveniences in the game. It means finding friends and forming groups with strangers and being social!! Because WoWs social aspects have always been the pillar of the game and over the years it has slowly been chiseled away at with changes that allow you play alone. Since the day I started working on the Riverglades I have lived by three sayings. "Convenience is the death of the journey." "If you're making a game for everyone then you're making it for no one." "Every change we make incurs a debt to the authenticity of the game and sooner or later that debt will be paid." These are my core beliefs and I had a specific group of people I was targeting with my work. These beliefs cannot be shaken and I will try to hold the line against anything that goes against them and will continue to pester the team about things that feel out of place. That being said, my hope is that Forever will pull in as many people as possible, whether you are a retail gamer, a classic gamer, someone who hasn't played in years, or even a new player. I hope you can all remember what made this game so special in the first place and that starts with understanding why we are so passionate about keeping it authentic.

It will be determined on their ability to completely ignore retail players and keep making content that aligns with the values of classic wow. Its classic plus, a forever home for everyone who enjoys classic and has been playing seasonal servers. Retail players have a home.
The success of WoW Forever will depend on Blizzard's ability to maintain a balance between Retail and Classic. I'll say it a thousand times: if it gives in to the demands of those who want to lower the difficulty, have epics drop like crazy and eliminate the rpg Elements, it will eventually die.

I have been harassed and followed in public countless times while alone. I have cried after being followed and approached several times after uni because I know that if someone actually tried to harm me, I wouldn't even be able to try to defend myself because any form of defense spray is illegal to carry. I would be the one in the wrong. So we either die or get arrested trying to protect ourselves? Against someone who possibly has an ACTUAL weapon on them 'legally?' Is that how it works? NOBODY should be scared of being harmed in public. NOBODY should be branded a criminal while dying just because one man says so. NOBODY should be carrying weapons in public. NOBODY should die at the hands of somebody else. NOBODY should spend their last living moments being read their rights and being treated like the problem while also not being believed for their injuries. I feel sick, the world is evil. This shouldn't have ever happened to Henry 💔

Taken from Facebook: Kelly Hatchard “To me, Henry wasn't a headline or a court case. He was my best friends funny, caring, cheeky son. Henry had a way of making people smile without even trying. He had so much life ahead of him, so many plans, and so much love to give. When Henry was just a baby, Lucy gave me the honour of being his godmother. Our kids, like us shared their childhood. Henry's loved ones were just normal people and we were enjoying watching our kids grow into adults, naively taking for granted that we would see all the wonderful things that life had to offer them. On December 5th 2025, when the news broke, life as we knew it stopped. My focus in what I want to say will always be Henry and Henry's family. But, nothing I could ever say would come close to explaining the pain of losing Henry. But alongside the heartbreak of losing Henry has been the pain of watching one of the kindest families I have ever known have their entire world torn apart. I was lucky enough to grow up with the family of my best friends Lucy (Henry's Mum) and Katie (Henry's aunty). The family make everyone feel welcome. Their home is filled with kindness, warmth and laughter. No matter what life throws at them they always find a way to bring light to those around them. They are generous with their time, compassionate in their hearts, and the sort of people who make others feel like family too, including me and then my children. Their laughter is infectious, their support unwavering, and their love for one another shines through in everything they do. My heart is broken for them, a very large part of them died on the day that monster chose to rip Henry from their lives. Yet even through their darkest days they continued to be the wonderful people that they are. Their focus during these dark times was to shine a light on and raise money for the charity that has helped them. Then, 6 months after Henry's death, the heart ache continued as they had to face the trial. Being subjected to sit in a room with the monster who brutally murdered their son and watch the lies spill so easily from his mouth. A man who has not once showed an an ounce of remorse for what he did. They endured a living nightmare. Thinking that things could not possibly get worse, in the last few weeks they have learned that the very institution that is there to protect us not only ignored Henry's plea for help, but they sided with the monster who put him on the ground . Henry's family learned that his last moments were not only spent so afraid of the monster who attacked him but he was then wronged and let down by the police officer who I have no doubt, Henry assumed was there to help him. That police officer handcuffed Henry and read him his rights. The last thing my best friend's beautiful boy heard before we lost him forever. This image, we will never ever be able to erase from our minds. Family, friends and now the world, will have seen that image and we all have to live with it forever. Shame on the monster who took you, shame on the police officer who should have helped you and shame on the organisation that trained the police officer to side with an incorrect racist slur over a dying young man. Shame on you all!! You treated a loving caring intelligent hardworking young man, with such disregard and disrespect. You treated Henry's family, such good people, with such dishonesty! The lies have been inforgivable !! HOW DARE YOU. Henry deserved so much more from this life. Henry and his family have been let down so badly. THIS COULD HAPPEN AGAIN TO ANYONE, ANYONE'S CHILD. This has to stop now. Henry we will fight until the end for you. The world will know your name. You changed our lives for the better for being a part of it, I believe you will now go on to change the lives of others by the legacy you will leave. God bless you my darling 💙”

🇬🇧 Henry Nowak, 18, "drowned in his own blood" as he lay cuffed and passed out on the street. He was stabbed multiple times by Vikrum Digwa, 23, with an 8-inch Sikh ceremonial knife. When the police arrived, Nowak was arrested instead, after Digwa accused him of racial abuse.

Stephen King should be commended for this, not further dragged. He acknowledged a making mistake, set the facts straight, deleted the original tweet, and apologized for it. Twitter would be a better place if we saw more of this.
I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages.

Our inquiry crowdfunder has raised almost half a million in less than a week - one big push to get it over the line. We will hound down the vile truth on the rape gangs. Allegations of 'racism' or 'islamophobia' will not stop us. Nobody in the establishment wants to talk about the mass rape of vulnerable white girls by Pakistani gangs. We will. This inquiry will force the issue into the spotlight. I promise you that. If you haven't already, please consider sharing and donating. crowdfunder.co.uk/p/the-rape…

It has occurred to me that the reason women may hate incels so much is because it's the one "Man club" they can't infiltrate due to the nature of what it is.

Men are not being recluses due to porn. They are using porn because they are forced into solitude. Conservative leaders refusing to acknowledge this makes them not fit for leadership.
Replying to @amuse
Concerning. Young men are becoming recluses because of p*rn and young women are avoiding children because they are being fed propaganda from the media and political leaders. It’s as if it’s all by design.

You should know that if you go around casually talking about how much you 'hate men' etc and thinking it's really cute and impressive, that you can do so because all the men in your life are performing the emotional labour of being benignly accepting and gracious about it, which we have to be because you will crumble at the first sign of frank, open criticism

Can we take a moment to appreciate the phenomenal lack of leadership Starmer and his government have demonstrated? Not only are the riots today entirely down to his ham-fisted response to the protests against the murder of three girls, but he has done nothing to attempt to calm the situation down, when such a thing would actually be quite straightforward. People are rioting because they don't feel listened to, yet again, after an atrocity was committed against an English community by a non-English person. This isn't the first time and it won't be the last, and government policy on this issue is simply for them to shut up and endure it. So, finally, they react in outrage, and Starmer's response is to demonise them and take the side of the community which produces by far the greatest number of terrorists and has tens of thousands on terror watch lists, in addition to the numerous other wrongs it is responsible for. This is, of course, deeply inflammatory, and is the cause of the riots today. But even these could have been prevented. All it would have taken is for Starmer to hold a press conference and adopt a conciliatory tone, and explain that he and his government hears the English community, and accepts their concerns for the safety of their own children as legitimate, and will look into taking measures that might reduce the number of murdered kids. He could have then respectfully asked people to stay home, and set a date for some kind of public dialogue with representatives of each side, so that a settlement could be come to and the people who have been ignored could feel heard. Instead, he has done literally nothing to empathise with the English community and is apparently, absurdly going on holiday next week, three weeks into what is looking like the most disastrous premiership in history. It's absurd that we are governed in this way.
