Why doesn’t the offense take a shot downfield now when the D encroaches ?instead of the lineman jumping up and down pointing trying to get some love

A must-read. I know how it comes across in "pastor world"... - Super cringe - "Off mission" - "political idolatry" - Disinvited from conferences, privately vetoed from publishing organizations, and coalitions, etc. ... but what modern progressivism has become is legitimately a crockpot-speed civilization-destroying force. This is not the 1996 political left anymore. "Love your neighbor; defeat progressivism."
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

The shrieking panic reactions from "Hollywood" types to Shane Gillis SNL monologue is a reminder liberals know humor is inherently dangerous to their false idols. Only "jokes" allowed mock Trump and his supporters. This is why Kimmel, Colbert, etc are such unfunny trash bags.

This month marks 500 years since a small, illegal book began slipping into England hidden in bales of cloth and barrels of goods. It was William Tyndale’s English New Testament, and it changed the world. Published in 1526, it was the first English NT translated directly from the original Greek… but Tyndale was far more than a translator. He was a scholar, theologian, linguist, reformer, and martyr whose work helped reshape the English Bible, the English language, and the Reformation itself. Here is why we need to remember this remarkable man: 📖 Tyndale believed Scripture belonged in the hands of ordinary Christians, not locked behind Latin, clerical authority and scholarly privilege. When challenged by a wealthy clergyman, he famously declared: "I defy the Pope and all his laws. If God spares my life, ere many years I will cause a boy that driveth the plough to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost." To do it, he fled England and spent years translating in hiding while authorities hunted him. 🗣️ He shaped the English language. Every time you say: • “The salt of the earth.” • “My brother’s keeper” • “Eat, drink and be merry” • “Go the extra mile” • “Fighting the good fight” • “Broken-hearted” …among so many other phrases, you are quoting Tyndale. When English lacked words for Hebrew concepts, he invented them: atonement, Passover, scapegoat, mercy seat. He even included the first glossary in an English Bible to help readers understand his translation choices. His extraordinary gift for English became the foundation for the King James Version, weaving his words into the very fabric of our language. 👑 The King James translators couldn't improve upon his work. When 54 scholars were commissioned in 1611 to create the King James Bible, they were tasked with producing a brand new translation... but when they sat down to the work, they found they didn't need to reinvent the wheel. Tyndale’s cadence, vocabulary, and grasp of the original languages were so masterful that the committee found they simply could not improve upon his phrasing. They adopted his work as the backbone of their own. Modern computer analysis confirms that roughly 84% of the King James New Testament, and 76% of the Old Testament books Tyndale translated, are essentially Tyndale’s exact words. When you read the King James Bible, you are hearing the voice of William Tyndale. 🔥 He counted the Word worth dying for. Tyndale was betrayed, arrested, and imprisoned in a cold castle for over a year. On October 6, 1536, he was strangled and burned at the stake. His final recorded prayer was not for his own life, but for his enemies: “Lord, open the King of England’s eyes.” Within just a few years, English Bibles were being placed in churches throughout the realm. Tyndale died, but his work lived, and the Word of God went forth. By the providence of God, the work of one faithful man helped to put the Scriptures into the hands of millions upon millions of people for centuries.

The internet was supposed to be a free global exchange of information, but the Left owned the search engine (Google) that determined what you could find, acted as a stealth indoctrination machine Social media was supposed to be online personas and connectivity for everyone, but Facebook, Twitter (pre-Elon), Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok became Left wing advocacy orgs pretending to be digital town squares Artificial Intelligence is supposed to solve problems for humanity and massively increase productivity, but now a cabal of leftist billionaires are pretending their tech could end the world, and are demanding govt regulation, the ability to collude with each other, box out competitors... The Left has achieved dominance of the most important information technologies for the last 30 years or so in what is the biggest ongoing psy op of all time Maybe with AI we can avoid such Leftist control, or at least not hand it to them so they can save us from phony "extinction" fears

Why do these politicians refuse to retire? You see how many musicians are touring years past their prime when they don’t need the money? The fame is a drug and they are addicted to it. Without it, they feel like they’re nothing. That’s why.

Say what you want about Ron DeSantis, but if there was ever a president who could translate conservative principles into actual government policy the way Ron DeSantis has done in Florida, America would look a hell of a lot better today. The guy truly knows how to govern.

East Germany failed to “guarantee” a car for every citizen, but it succeeded in (1) proving central planners can’t innovate and (2) replicating the breadline model to everything they touch. Because steel was never available for private citizens, the “Trabant” automobile was made out of Duroplast pressed over cotton waste and scrap. >same timeless design for 30 years >super innovative 23-horsepower two-stroke engine >no oil pump so people had to mix oil into the tank by hand at every fill up because labor itself is a worthy end And people still had to wait 10-13 years on a waitlist. 40 years by the late 1980s. So the government did in fact “guarantee” a car for every citizen. Just not that it wouldn’t be shit. Or that they’d ever get one.

In 2001 George W Bush proposed a partial privatization plan for Social Security so you could put 10% of your SS contribution into the markets. People rejected this. We can now see that if it had passed, the 10% that went into the markets would have outperformed the 90% the government managed, the program would be solvent, and the average SS recipient would be receiving 2X what they currently receive. The worst bet you’ll ever make is betting on government.
