The Minnesota Timberwolves and Drew Timme have agreed to a deal, league sources told @hoopshype. Timme will compete for a spot in training camp. The former Gonzaga star has averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in two NBA seasons with the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers.

My sophomore year of high school both the quarterbacks on our JV team broke their legs, the coach chose me to take over, I think because I wore number 4, despite never taking a snap in my life and my first throw was picked off and returned 99 yards for a touchdown

My dad passed away last night after a 4-year battle with cancer. He was a hero of mine and a good man. We bonded over football and always talked Vikings. The win meant a little more today.
