Under state rules, excess funds must be refunded within 10 days. Instead, Weiser kept the cash, only attempting to fix the violations after getting caught.
When confronted, the Weiser campaign arrogantly dismissed the legitimate, documented concerns of Colorado voters as "unserious" and tried to point fingers elsewhere.
Where is the outrage from the legacy news media? If a conservative candidate committed almost 50 direct campaign finance violations, it would be wall-to-wall front-page coverage. Instead, the corrupt media hands Democrats a free pass while their top officials act like they are above the very laws they are sworn to enforce.
