Argus, one week after mainnet.
@Arguspad
$ARGUS is up 22% today. The launchpad just had its quietest day since mainnet. Both of those are true, and the second one matters more.
THE LAUNCHPAD
$302.7M traded all time. 3,357,295 swaps. It crossed $300M this morning.
164,657 tokens launched. 645 graduated.
Volume by day, every complete UTC day since mainnet:
• Sep 16 · $189.3M — mainnet day, 1.75M swaps
• Sep 17 · $36.4M
• Sep 18 · $20.7M
• Sep 19 · $14.6M
• Sep 20 · $9.98M
• Sep 21 · $8.82M
• Sep 22 · $7.00M
• Sep 23 so far · $2.49M
Seven straight days down. That's the honest headline and we're not going to dress it up.
WHAT'S UNDERNEATH IT
Average size per swap: $50.62 → $51.10 → $56.65 → $62.88 over the last four days.
Volume is falling and trade size is rising. The bots that made mainnet day look like $189M are gone; what's left trades bigger and less often. On Sep 20 it took 197,242 swaps to do $9.98M. Yesterday it took 123,600 to do $7M.
Graduations tell the same story. All time, 645 of 164,657 tokens have graduated — 0.39%. But in the four days since our last update, 11,922 tokens launched and 116 graduated: 0.97%. Two and a half times the historical rate.
Fewer launches, better launches.
THE TOKEN
$18.2M market cap, up from $17.1M four days ago. Price +22.5% in 24h — the biggest green day since mainnet week.
$2.51M traded across 17 pools, 12,224 trades, $1.52M of liquidity in total with $843K in the deepest single pool.
The burn keeps eating: 63.4M ARGUS at the dead address, 6.3% of supply, $1.23M at today's price. It was 58.3M and 5.8% four days ago. It only goes one way.
THE POINT
Mainnet day was a number nobody was ever going to repeat. $189M in 24 hours on a chain that was eight days old.
A week later Argus clears $7M a day with bigger trades, a graduation rate 2.5x its own average, and 6.3% of its supply burned and gone. Two weeks ago its all-time volume was under $2M.
The spike was the noise. This is the signal.
