We're currently working with a family who is facing decades in prison for "child abuse" that never happened. The child was born severely premature (24 weeks), spent 4 weeks in NICU, and she has active metabolic bone disorder that caused the injuries. All of this is confirmed by extensive medical records, test results and billing records. The state's sole evidence of "abuse" is a report from a physician that ignores the medical evidence, and STILL doesn't rule out her disorder causing the injuries. That's called reasonable doubt. And yet, the trial is still moving forward, they parents have been in jail for over a year with no bond (denied three times) and no access to their baby girl, and they face decades in prison and never seeing her again. This the kind of garbage we fight every day at @YATPOfficial. And just like with the other families, we're going to win this one too.
