where tech meets the future—I ask where the value actually lands. writing Second-Order

$TSLA incentive is to make the cybercab economics work for broader distribution I’m sure we will see a lot of incentives like free super charging for Tesla owners if they contribute to a fleet.

The future seems to be converging on a binary outcome: AI fixes the debt problem or it doesn’t. Allocate accordingly

The future is just a barbell of AI and bitcoin:native
.@Bitwise’s @Matt_Hougan says investors need to prepare for two possible outcomes: If the U.S. grows its way out of the debt problem, own AI. If it inflates its way out, own Bitcoin. Thank you to @realfi_co for being a sponsor of the CoinDesk Media Network.

So youre telling me Anthropic is gonna IPO over $2T market cap while SpaceX has grok, grok bot, starlink, compute, orbital compute. Make it make sense

Soon in every city.
Tesla has introduced a new form that you can fill out if you are interested in purchasing a fleet of Cybercabs: Form: tesla.com/robotaxi/interest

I’ll go out on a limb and say a cut is even possible before the end of the year.
If you’re Warsh why would you hike rates just to cut them in 6 months when the deflationary impacts of AI become more pronounced?

What happens when a fridge can think?

It was always about distribution for crypto. Robinhood already owns the audience.
JUST IN: Daily trading volume on Uniswap's Robinhood Chain deployment reaches $1.7 billion, up 10x in the past two weeks - Token Terminal.

Block space is the token of crypto

Please over build the AI infrastructure so that I can use @bot infinitely cheaper.

The market equating higher rates as bad for crypto are wrong. Tokenization, stablecoins, etc. do not stop with higher rates. Technology keeps moving forward.

All eyes on cybercab

Reads like SciFi
Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes. This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself. All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy. I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened. Here is my attempt to tell the whole story in plain English: dwarkesh.com/p/openai-huggin…

People are getting the Druck letter so wrong. He’s not blaming Bessent. He’s giving him a cover and the golden bridge of government overspending.
7
I don’t see a world where Warsh hikes rates this year. Druck pointed out the problem: federal spending. Bessent and Warsh both fighting losing battles when the debt is growing at unsustainable rates. Hiking rates doesn’t solve that problem. Neither does semi yield curve control.

Is anyone talking about ChatGPT or Claude Cowork at all? Feels like it’s all @bot now.

Proving all the SaaSpocalypses wrong.

Met Matt at a Bitwise happy hour 2 years ago during a @RealVision event. He had no problem giving a random 20 something year old time to ask him questions. All class!
