Have been asked what this is (wasn’t vagueposting, I just already talk about this book too much): It’s Walter Siti’s PARADISE OVERLOAD. Out next year in the US with Archipelago, and hopefully I can share the UK publisher soon! One early chapter’s out here: granta.com/my-poor-parents/
Ok ok ok, here is the first page of the novel of the century. (Actually about 600 writers/critics voted on this in Italy, at least.) The English version is still in edits but it's coming! 😤
