Succession.
My baby brother Milo. Let me formerly introduce him. He is a very good boy. He has had a terrible past that he has escaped with us to join our Pack. He is in every way a part of our family now.
He was discovered on social media on a fall Saturday evening in East San Antonio. In a park where a visiting couple from St. Louis, Missouri. They were visiting San Antonio for the weekend for a friend's wedding. The reception was in a public park and Milo was there begging for food. The couple noticed him and obliged. They pet him and he was enthralled they noticed him and stayed with them. Then after spending some time with him they realized he was a living on the streets.
They did what most sensible people do they removed him the streets but instead of taking him to the shelter and surrendering him. A friend that was at the reception told them the San Antonio shelters are high kill shelters. Especially, surrendered ones. So they had their friend create a post on the app Nextdoor
@Nextdoor. Daddy was scrolling while watching University of Texas playing and it peaked his interest. Daddy responded and agreed to take over fostering because the couple had to fly back on Monday back home.
Daddy went to meet them and picked Milo up. The couple named him Churrito. When Daddy was on the way he already decided on Chooch. Chooch is legend on Instagram. They don't have an account here. But look up Eddie and Chooch and you will find him and his story, sad in the end. He had cancer too in the abdomen like me but go look up his great story. It was funny how he was both Churrito and Chooch at first.
Daddy plan was just to foster not keep long term. Previously we helped another street dog in San Antonio named Blu. He had blue eyes. He is a good boy too. He hit the lottery with a rich family. Daddy was able to have someone adopt him in a few days. Daddy and Blu's daddy are still friendly and share stories about us. Well, Daddy and us would discover that Milo was destined to b with us even though he did get him intaked at San Antonio Humane Society
@sahumane within a few weeks. Milo was named Romeo with the Humane Society. The Humane Society were able to get Milo adopted within a few days. Look at him, he's very soft on the eyes. But, the family never changed the microchip daddy had placed on him when Daddy took him to get neutered, vaccinated, tested and chipped.
Milo was dumped again but in a nice neighborhood. One of the neighbors saw him and took him in and got him scanned and Daddy's info came up. The neighbor called Daddy and Daddy was shocked but immediately told her he would come get him. Long story short we were about to move to
#FortWorth and didn't want a second or third time Milo was dumped and neglected. We took him! Milo was then set to be with us. God brought him back where he belonged and Daddy accepted it happily. Milo would be renamed from Chooch or Romeo. He was part of our Pack. We love him. And when I go to the rainbow 🌈 bridge, Milo will take my place. I asked him to take over my page. I ask you love him too like you loved me. He is my successor. Prince Milo. 👑
Below 👇 first two pictures is Milo when he was discovered with his red partially torn collar. Then the next is when daddy got him all cleaned up with his first new harness. Which Milo chewed up later 😩🤣🙄. Then the last is our video we made this morning. ❤🔥🐶🐾🙏….
