🚨 ADELAIDE WAR MEMORIAL DESECRATED 🚨 Four original bronze plaques have been torn from Burnside's 102-year-old Fallen Soldiers' Memorial in Rose Park, Adelaide. The "Helping Hand" digger has honoured the district's fallen since 1924. There should be no further security funding for any other community until the memory of those who gave their lives for Australia, is secured.

Get angry, but also encourage people to learn more about these men. If more young Australians knew about their local ANZACS, their legacy would be better appreciated. The fallen Shepley brothers, for example, also had a cousin killed at Gallipoli. vwma.org.au/explore/memorial… RIP.
