I'll follow back anyone still out there farming airdrops for perp Dexes or any other DeFi protocols because you’re a goat for refusing to give up

Japanese crypto whales starting to notice that existing volume and OI for an illiquid pair doesn’t equal high slippage in Variational because of its RFQ model. I bet there’s still a lot more whales who are unaware of this superiority. You are not bullish enough $VAR.

232pts Variational points earned this week. Pushed more than last week but less points for me. $20m volume, mostly from low OI & Volume RWA pairs like COCOA, XPT, XPD, and equities with >$5m OI and volume pairs. Around half from Swaps and other from Perps. PnL negative due to getting hit hard on my mid to long term holds (BTC, ETH, ZEC, HYPE, LIT). Worst part is I cut a portion of it at the bottom thinking it would go lower😭 Not much time left before API goes live this month. Pushing earlier the better. omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…

244pts for Variational this week🙌 Points are getting harder to earn every week but I managed to grab another 5 figs again. So what’s the alpha? My volume was mainly from COPP, CNA50, GASOL, COCOA. These are the newly listed Swaps with low OI and volume. No need to hold them for long, I was scalping these. I’ll stop once these get popular, but the take away is that you should trade the newly listed ones. It has the best return on volume. One guy was pushing $2.17b volume this week. You’ll only get crumbs trading the popular ones like BTC, US100, XAU, etc and competing with this whale. My weekly volume was 0.5% of his. One thing to be careful is the spreads. I’m staying away from VXI as the spreads are high and its difficult to scalp. Don’t get brainwashed into thinking its too late. It’s not. omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…

For Week 42, got 111pts with $6.3m volume. Traded mainly Oil Perps & Swaps. Var is super hyped up now but 3 digit points per week is still possible! That’ll be 5 figs depending on market condition🫶 Don’t miss out: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…

I locked $1.3k into OLP a year ago. Ostium got hacked. Thought I lost it all. Now I'm getting back $1.4k+😂 (due to price appreciation of OLP) I was on the lucky side this time but these non-pro-rata recovery plans are unfair. There's people who didn't lose anything, and on the other side, there's a big Ostium believer who lost a ton of money. Shouldn't the loss % be equal for everyone who got affected? What's your view?

Some people compare Variational to other perp dexs and claim post TGE, volume will drop ~60%. I wouldn’t compare Variational to other D-tier perp dexs which offers nothing special. Variational has the lowest all-in execution cost and the most listed markets. There’s a reason for people to stay. Sure, volume will drop for some time. But in the long run, users will notice the benefits and the metrics would be up and to the right. gVar

32% allocation with 100% initial unlock is insane! It’s really going to be a generational airdrop. And I was starting to think I didn’t have enough points. Well, looks like we’re given more time to accumulate. omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…

Whales want your Var points. Don’t know their time horizon but they know its going higher. If you’re thinking to jeet, I recommend you to think otherwise because you’re just giving your future profits to smart money. gVar

My weekly Variational points ATH at 427pts🔥 I posted earlier that I wasn’t expecting much because of the volume people are pushing. But seems like my strategy worked. I traded about $12m this week and most of my volume is from scalping USOIL & UKOIL, with some XAG. These are the lowest volume pairs in Swaps, with only a fraction of US500, US100, or XAU. As always, you get rewarded for being in places where the crowd isn’t. On top of the weekly points, we’re also getting points from the Swaps Competition as well. Glad I didn’t give up ‘till the end. And we haven’t finished yet bros, we still have minimum 1 or 2 weeks left. Let’s continue the grind! gVar

People are pushing hard in Variational’s Swap Competition! We know the bonus points are based on pure volume, so many are creating volume even at a loss. Right now, I generated more than $11m volume in less than a week and ranked 52. Fwiw, I finished within top 10 with around $20m volume in RWA Competition 1&2. So my pace is faster but I can’t even break the top 50 lmao Yeah Swaps might be easier to generate volume but still, Var is becoming a platform used by whales. I was aiming for 3 digit points from this Competition but looks like I won’t make it. I expect normal weekly points would be less than usual too. Points are more scarce than ever. Bullish for our points stack. gVar

Reminder you can claim your SOL refund if you have an active Solana wallet. Solana requires a small SOL deposit (~0.002 SOL) known as 'rent' to create token accounts. This website allows you to close the empty token accounts and recover the deposits. I was able to recover $26 from one of my wallets. sol-incinerator.com/?ref=bro…

208pts with $7m volume from Variational this week. Far from my ATH but more than expected🫶 Most volume from scalping BZ. Using USOIL and XAG after the Competition announcement. From points per volume perspective, BZ might be better than USOIL even if the Swaps double points boost because the market volume is less than 1/3. But since we’re getting extra points from Swaps Competition, I’ll be focusing more on Swaps. Hoping to get 3 digit points from the Competition again. My main position is long BTC, ZEC, HYPE, Oil. But I mostly just keep them open so maybe not contributing much to points.

Week 38 of Var points: 56 pts with $2m volume. Lower volume than last week but higher points, meaning less competition. Guess some people quit after seeing how crowded it got last week, but can’t blame them🤷 Now many whales joined this game. It’s true the prime days for farming Variational is over. But I still think its one of the best risk/reward farming out there. One of the biggest fear farmers have is if projects never TGE or don’t airdrop much. Var has a clear roadmap of TGE and also a very good track record of meeting that roadmap. It promises 50% allocation to the community and is very likely to have high FDV, considering the fact that it has metrics on par or better with Lighter. If Var launches at similar FDV as Lighter, 1 point will be above $100. 50pts a week is equivalent to earning $250k annually as a wage slave lmao. Farmers take the risk of uncertainty (the risk of project not being successful, not TGE’ing, low FDV, etc.) but you can’t get more certainty than Var imo. Week 37 of Var points: 42 pts for $2.3m volume Low compared to my previous weeks, but didn't force myself to push volume this week. I'm not a whale, can't compete with real whales with volume or OI. For gods sake, the top guy's weekly volume was $930m😂 I'm just genuinely using Variational as my trading platform. Traded here and there but continued to have my longs open and got PnL of $9k for the week. Hoping to ride along with the bull market🐂

Every perp DEX should TGE right after Variational. Following such a monumental and paradigm-defining TGE, market participants will be engulfed by euphoria, leading them to delusionally extrapolate Variational’s success onto virtually every C-tier perp DEX out there. gVar

For week 36, got 204 pts with $6m volume. Good PnL of +$16k from BTC and Oil longs🔥 Lost a ton from trading SNDK lol but my longs more than made up for it. Crazy to think that this week’s points will be worth five figs thanks to Trump ($50+ per point incoming) gVar: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
For week 36 of the Omni points program, 150,000 points were distributed across 24,601 accounts.

Collected 176 pts in the latest Variational distribution💪 Good week with positive PnL of $1.7k for me. But the catch is that I did $14m in volume. Profit came from a small number of directional trades vs volume from scalping XAU and CL. Points per volume not so good probably because my average OI was low... Scalping works better when there’s a Competition going on and you separately get rewarded for volume. Not so good during other weeks🤷

There's many opinions for this new points distribution, but personally, I support this attempt by the team. Currently, Variational only has ~15k active addresses. If Var can successfully recruit 10k of the most active addresses, that's more than +150% user base increase and the metrics will go through the roof. They're whales afterall. I wasn't joking when I said we're still early at the time. Every day its less early and harder to earn those points. On the bright side, if metrics goes up, our accumulated points value would likely go up as well. It all depends on if the newly recruited whales are going to stay or not. The team has bet that they have a good chance, and I think so too. The experience at Var is superior than other CEX or DEX imo. Hoping for the best! By the way, only ~15k active addresses vs ~25k accounts receive points every week. That means that 10k accounts are receiving referral points without having any skin in the game. Don't give your ref points to non-users who's gonna dump on you. Use mine and get a boost: omni.variational.io/?ref=OMN…
We identified 10,000 of the most active perp traders on-chain (excluding market makers) that haven’t signed up to Variational yet. We’re allocating $1M+ and 150k Variational points to onboard them. 🧵
