So apparently we’re doing this again. A federal judge ordered the White House to restore CNN’s access. Today, CNN was scheduled to fly on Air Force One as the TV pool reporter, providing coverage for the other major networks. The White House barred them from the flight. Because apparently losing in court wasn’t enough to get the message across. This isn’t about whether you like CNN. I genuinely couldn’t care less if you watch them or despise them. Presidents don’t get to decide which news organizations are worthy of covering them based solely on whether they like the coverage. A free press doesn’t require the president’s approval.

Nowhere in the constitution did it say a massive corporation with its own motives gets to masquerade as the press. Free-press is welcome to cover whoever they want Oligarch ran spin machines are not protected

So if someone gets paid to do journalism, they aren't free press?

Of course they are. But if they only get paid to say exactly what they are told To say; to have scripts written for them; to regurgitate the exact same talking points (as has been shown word for word among tons of different talking heads) then they are not. This Goes for Fox too

So what points should they be making instead? Couldnt I argue anyone is reading from a script? Arent you just regurgitating a MAGA talking point right now? And any media outlet that says something similar are just mindless script readers?

It’s not a maga talking point when im referring to ALL MSM including Fox. Here’s a YouTube clip from 2018 about Sinclair having right wing outlets doing it. There are similar or even identical examples of it from CNN/ABC/MSN etc m.youtube.com/watch?v=aGIYU2…

I'm asking you what you would consider not a "talking point" or "reading from a script". Do you have a source or journalist who you consider is authentic and reports accurately?

One day I will know...
