The study from Takaoka et al. showed that delayed-phase cardiac CT and CT-derived ECV maps improve detection of left ventricular thrombus, with AUCs of 0.95 and 0.98, respectively, compared with 0.78 for early-phase and 0.55 for non-contrast imaging.

Using the highest velocity/gradient of aortic valve and LVOT in AF patients has always made more sense to me than averaging 5 Beats. I always think of post PVC beat or the beat after long RR interval in AF as a poor man’s DSE for LF-LG severe AS.
A very good thinking!
Mayo Clinic Echo Lab now recommends measuring a single highest velocity of aortic valve and LVOT to determine AV gradient and AVA. Hope this will become a part of future VHD guideline @ottoecho

I still haven’t received a single call from FedEx regarding an update of my lost shipment. Ticket was opened 10 days ago. 😕 This is extremely poor and disappointing customer service from FedEx @FedExHelp @FedEx. I will definitely avoid using FedEx moving forward.
@FedExHelp My shipment was shipped on 6/22 from Houston to Chicago by FedEx ground. Supposed to arrive on 6/24. It went missing and ticket was created 6/24. I’m calling almost everyday to get a status update, and each time I was told someone from investigation will call me. It has been 8 days since ticket was started and I haven’t received a single call for an update! I even provided the location of my shipment as I placed an Apple AirTag (tracker) within this shipment. Your customer service is extremely disappointing!!!

A Model Y driver started experiencing a medical emergency with chest pain mid-drive & called his son.
His son then remotely rerouted the car – which had FSD Supervised enabled – to the nearest hospital & let them know the vehicle was en route. ER staff were standing by on arrival.
Doctors later confirmed the quick reroute likely saved his life.
