Di-Quan Schafar Hunt was formally charged August 14 with felony assault with a deadly weapon, appeared in Court on August 17 (bond denied, public defender appointed), indicted by a grand jury Sept 1–3 on the upgraded charge of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. A follow-up court date was set for September 2, but no trial as of September 22. The case remains in the pre-trial stage.
