Heat fans trying to ragebait while being equally serious at the same time is genuinely one of the funniest things in NBA Twitter history
Look at Giannis face reaction after the dunk. That doesn’t look like a guy who’s “leaving” in 1-2 years. He’s having the most intense/best training camp of his entire career right now.

“I’ve never been apart of something like this. — I want to leave my mark. I want to know when this chapter is over, if I’m only here for a year, two or whatever it’s going to be I want to leave my mark”👀 - Giannis (Via @5ReasonsSports / @TheHeatCentral)

Jon Horst on extending Gary Trent Jr.: "When you look at Gary Trent and what he's done for us in the last 2 seasons — and even before us in his young career — he's an elite shooter, I think one of 5 or 6 players to shoot and make the amount of 3s he has as a reserve over the last couple years. Only 27 years old. Was big for us in playoff moments, so there's a big belief in Gary for what we think matters, and that's elite shooting in the NBA that's hard to find. It's something that Taylor [Jenkins] values, and I think he's even going to maximize more with us, so it was a great opportunity for us to do that, and we acted on it."

Jon Horst's message to Bucks fans about the team’s direction: "We talked a lot about having a successful offseason, executing a successful draft, hiring a great coach as the pillars of our focus when the season ended last year. We sit here today feeling like we accomplished a number of those things. We're excited about it. Starting here with this guy next to me. There's a great level of energy and excitement, buy-in, collectively with the group, and that gives us a foundation to build from. Everything we're going to do today and going forward, is building, competing and building a group and trying to do it together each and every day".

Wes Edens was asked about the health of the fanbase after there were a lot of empty seats at Fiserv last season: "Wisconsin fans are fanatical sports fans. Everything kinda goes through a cycle. Obviously when you're winning 60 games a year, it's not hard to fill up your stadium. When you win less than that, it's a little more challenging. But, we've made big investments not just to the arena, but all the programming with it to create the best entertainment that we can. People spend a lot of money to come out on a Tuesday night in February. We want them to feel like they've had the best experience they can, not just on the court but off and all that goes into it". "I really believe that fans are very intelligent and are very authentic. If you're authentic, they really respond to that, and you don't have to win 75 games to have the arena full again. I feel like we're going to have a really good year on the court and I think we're going to have a good year off the court as well".

Wes Edens says he knew it was the right time to trade Giannis: "I feel like every flower has its season. We had a long season with this one and it was the right decision. It was not a hard decision in the end in terms of the direction of it. Obviously the execution of that was a very challenging thing. We spent a lot of time on that. I think Jon [Horst] and his crew and Taylor [Jenkins] did a tremendous job with where we ended up". "It was the right time. I thought at the beginning of last year, for the first two quarters of a game we had a really good team. And then, Kevin [Porter Jr.] got hurt, and then there was a whole series of really snakebit injuries. Look, nobody feels sorry for you in professional sports. Everyone deals with injuries. I feel like we've had more than our share of bad luck, and maybe we're now primed to have more than our share of good luck. The whole team is very healthy right now, knock wood, and excited about the future".

Wes Edens talks about the process behind trying to go for another championship with Giannis and believes that this season is a "building", not "rebuilding" year: "We won more games from 2018-2023 than any other team in the league. We had massive amounts of success. It was the right decision in all of our ownership's view to try to give that the best chance of having the next year of it. We did a bunch of very aggressive things. They were all with the intention of trying to give ourselves another chance to win a championship with that team." "But now you look around here, there's no Giannis, there's no Khris Middleton, there's no Brook Lopez, Jrue Holiday — all these amazing players that came through here — but we have the next crop of these young folks here that have every right to believe they can be the next group that kind of builds towards that." "And we don't think of this as a rebuilding team, we think of this as a building team. There's a big difference between the two, and I think we're going to have a lot of success this year, but it's certainly a big change."

Wes Edens hopes other teams won't like to play the Bucks because of how hard they will play: "If we all did our little straw poll of who were going to be the top 8 teams in the East, I will bet that there would be a lot of diversity in terms of who we would pick. It's going to be a lot of change and a lot of really exciting teams that I'm excited to see play. For a team like ours, we've got a tremendous amount of young talent. We have a very very deep team. I think there's going to be a huge amount of competition within the team. Really what I hope is that competition spills out on the court and we're the team nobody likes to play because of how hard we play".

Wes Edens says Taylor Jenkins may be the biggest addition of the entire NBA offseason, comparing him to the coaching that his soccer team, Aston Villa, has: "I feel like [with] Taylor Jenkins, we are really blessed to be in that same position here. I think he may be the biggest addition in the NBA offseason as far as I'm concerned. He was the guy that we wanted. We signed him to a long-term contract. He's a known quantity to us because he was here before, then went off and had lots of success in Memphis. You take that and a refresh of the organization and it's a really exciting time.

Bucks' Owner Wes Edens on what excites him the most about the team's future: "We're extremely excited about the year and the opportunity in front of us. Specifically it was obviously a big offseason for us. I'll start with our thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo and all that he brought to our organization. 13 years. It's been a minute since we haven't had him in the building. It's good to acknowledge that, but it's also a great time to change and move on."
