Born in an Aboriginal community on Mornington Island, she came into the world a perfectly healthy pup. At just one year old, she became seriously ill and suffered paralysis.
I didn’t give up on her, and she never gave up on me.
She’s 10 now.
She still carries a few little reminders of what she went through, but none of them have ever dulled her spirit.
She is the most adorable, gentle and loving dog and living proof that sometimes the ones we rescue end up giving us far more than we could ever give them.
