We are not mad at the broker tag itself, but what the stigma around it has become. We want nothing to do with it, and like others that have successfully been labeled studios for performing the same activity, we hope so too.

I genuinely distrust people who knowingly commission brokers.. 🫪

1. We had to remove all our external services from VGEN per their terms. 2. The shop items are models we help resell, a lot of them are old customers of ours that need to step away from vtubing 3. Because we are not verified anymore and had our verification removed due to an angry customer reporting our Mihuashi services, VGEN will not let us add any new services to our page. We have had new artist join the atelier, and they cannot have their services added to VGEN because we ran out of "Service slots." Each folder is named after the artist who makes it.

After Muncha confirmed they won't be unlabelling us as brokers, we just pray something will change. JA needs to clarify we are actually wrongfully marked as brokers. We do not mistreat or underpay our artists. They set their own prices and choose to enter an official business contract with us as a registered business entity with EIN and VAT. They set their own prices and choose to go through us because they cannot access overseas customers easily on their own. Our goal is to help them access more clients, build their portfolio, and show clients that is is possible to buy a high quality assets without breaking the bank! But because our artists are contracted as subcontractors and not employees, Vgen refuses to mark us a a studio. #Vgen #jiangatelier #studio

thank you. the thing is, we cannot employ employees because we do not provide medical benefits or w-2 forms. The issue is, we know other studios labelled as studios do not do this either.

not sure what this is all about but i tried to commission jiang atelier off of Vgen once for a background not realizing it wasn't a singular artist.. They added me to a discord full of artists & assigned me a translator and an artist who refused to communicate with me for days

Please do explain what the difference would be to make them a studio then, because they have in house long-term employed artists. Not subcontracted ones. Per the screenshot they’re a studio

We heard back from them, and they said they wont be changing it unless we change our website and contract. We offer BOTH inhouse and external services because we believe that ANYONE should be able to find the perfect artist, even if they dont choose our own artists.

Yeah, to my understanding because all artists are in-house it would be a studio account, not a broker.
