I BUILT SOMETHING NEW 🐈‍⬛ 🎉 In the last year, my business @VoicyApp got to: 💵 $11k MRR 💰Over 2000 paying users 📈 25000 monthly clicks from Google The secret? SEO + GEO. The cool part? It's 100% automated. I didn't write a single blog post. ZERO. Instead, I built Romeo. My personal SEO agent. This isn't a new idea, but I hated every single AI SEO tool out there. - They push out slop that nobody reads - They care about clicks, not conversions - You push a blog post out and never look at it again Romeo does things differently. - It writes like you and I write (mostly me 😘) - IT AUDITS YOUR SITE EVERY DAY Instead of writing new AI slop, it checks your existing site. What's ranking? What's dropping? What needs improvement? It then does all of that. Everybody wants to push more content, nobody wants to fix what's broken. Romeo SEO is not a new idea. There are a million competitors. But I know we can do it better than them. Give it a try at romeoseo.com ❤️

I don’t know how Wispr Flow is a business in 2027. Literally weeks away from not needing to exist. I have never seen a clearer example of Feature Not a Product.

A hill I'm willing to die on: In low-income countries, you tip BASED ON YOUR MEANS, not based on the receipt Example: You travel to Vietnam You make US/EU wages You go to a very nice restaurant w amazing service Total bill is $30 You better tip at least 50% You make 20x of what the average worker there makes. F off with your 10% tip.

Dear $0 MRR founder, Stop thinking outside of the box when it comes to marketing your app. It's not that difficult. Go to reddit. Respond to comments. Get users. The inside of the box is good enough.

My website has over 1000 pages. 20k clicks per month from Google. I pay @framer $250/month for it This weekend I'm finally moving it into code. - Framer's AI integrations are terrible TERRIBLEEEEEEE - Barely a functioning MCP - Their localisation feature looks great but translates like Google translate I've honestly had enough

It’s literally just building absolutely fucking anything and then… … Marketing it? Learning from failures?? Listening and ACTUALLY FOLLOWING the advice of more successful people??? It legitimately isn’t about luck. At least at my little 10k MRR stage it isn’t luck.
Most successful indie makers don't think they're special. They don't believe they have a unique talent that made them successful. They'll tell you with a straight face that anybody can do it, and that they just had to learn X Y Z. I think it comes from two things: 1- we are told from a young age to not think of ourselves as superior to other people, otherwise they'll think we're assholes 2- unconsciously, the more you make other people believe that you're just a normal guy, the more they will believe they can achieve it too, and end up supporting you and buying your stuff. Therefore you don't have an incentive to question that belief. So we end up having generational top 0.001% talent saying "dude i'm not special, you can do it too, here's my book / course / tool / whatever". And I don't think there's any malicious intent. They genuinely believe this. After years of struggle and grind, it seems to make sense that it wasn't talent after all. And most genuinely want to help. But though it's true that anybody can reach a decent level if they put in the effort, and that learning the skills is crucial... I've met too many entrepreneurs who put that same effort and went through the same grind, and still have poor results after 5 or 10 years. And sadly, some of them just don't have that special talent or vibe that's compatible with the times. And it will be harder for them. Not impossible, just harder. So my take is that to succeed at the highest level, you do indeed need to be a bit special. For example, to be highly successful on social media, you need specific traits or a personality that's highly compatible with it. Most people don't have it, and it can't be easily learned either. It mostly comes from deep personality baked in childhood + luck of being compatible with 2026 algorithms (like being provocative is good right now). Anyway not sure where I was going with this. Just if you see someone super successful tell you that it's not rocket science and they're not special and you can do it too... well they're def special, they just don't want to think of themselves that way, and it's also not good for their business to tell you they're better than you and out of reach. So take it with a grain of salt. You can still learn some things from them, and improve yourself on the way.

Free tools ≠ good SEO Why? Free tools get you visitors WHO WANT A FREE TOOL They don't wanna pay for your product. They want FREE stuff. It ONLY makes sense if: - it's INSANELY relevant to your paid product - Your product offers that free tool as part of your free plan - Your product has the hardest fucking paywall of all time Do not waste time on free tools. They'll get you traffic, but that traffic won't convert.
Visitors ≠ revenue (unfortunately) A few months ago I started adding free tools to MyFeedIn for SEO. LinkedIn video downloader, image downloader, post downloader... It worked better than anything I've ever done: → May: 1,840 clicks from Google → August: 61,484 clicks from Google 33x in 3 months. 96% of my Google traffic now comes from these tools. Then I looked at what it actually brought in. In the last 90 days: → 126,343 visitors on the free tools → 28 signups → 0 paying customers Every time I share these numbers, someone asks me why it doesn't convert better. But these pages were never meant to convert. People come for a specific result, and leave. What they bring is authority. They send positive signals to Google for the whole site and improve the SEO results on other pages overall. So now I'm improving the SEO on the rest of the site to make the most of it!

Youtube's AI replies to comments are legitimately good and save me HOURS every week. Probs one of the best and simplest implementations of AI I've seen in big tech
