Hello. I am Barry Oners, Creator, Owner, CEO, CFO, CTO and summer intern of the ORIGINAL $Buttcoin meme 15+ years ago.
I created the Buttcoin.org and ButtcoinFoundation.org websites, I made the @Buttcoin Twitter account and I created the /r/Buttcoin subreddit.
This is the only token that has ever gotten and WILL ever get my approval. Period.
I have posted proof and screenshots on all my socials. These accounts have never been sold or given away to anyone other than myself, I have always maintained control.

Fun fact: the FTC still owns the original domain of the blog Buttcoin.org. I tried to buy it earlier this year when it was set to expire but they renewed it.

$BUTTCOIN IP UPDATE!
Our Trademark application was APPROVED for public publication by the examining officer at the USPTO.
They found our claims were valid and now they get published for public review. This is a brief hold period all applications go through that allows anyone to file a legal dispute against the claim. I don’t anticipate any disputes at this stage since I have filed as the original creator.
Final stretch. Last bit of administrative hold until full IP rights secured.

15 years ago Buttcoin was created as a parody of crypto itself. A blog, a twitter and a subreddit highlighting the humor and absurdity of upending the whole financial world.
Shorty after, the idea of turning the meme into a full fledged cryptocurrency was born. The technology didn’t exist yet, but in 2012 Buttcoin birthed the idea of the world’s first memecoin.
We know our first stop.

One of my favorite and bizarre bits of lore is back in 2015 one of the $Buttcoin community members went to the first ever Bitcoin-sponsored sporting event.
It was a post-season college football game formerly called the Beef ‘O’ Brady bowl (that’s some sort of soup I believe). Bitpay was the sponsor, but they didn’t put their own name on it, electing to instead call it the “Bitcoin Bowl”.
It wasn’t a very good game, the whole thing was pretty shoddy, but it was really entertaining in a weird way. It also produced one of my favorite mascots ever.
Such weird history that I’ve seen over the past 15 years.
