Thank you to everyone who joined us at Together She Rises Bingo Night!
Because of your generosity, laughter, and enthusiasm, the evening was more than just a fun night out. It was an opportunity to make a real difference for the children and families served by the Collier CAC.
It takes a village to support children and families in crisis, and we are incredibly grateful for Beverly’s Angels here in Collier County. Their generosity recently helped us bring both joy and essential necessities to a family we are serving at the Collier CAC. Thank You!
We are incredibly honored to share that Collier CAC was recognized as Nonprofit of the Year at the SWFL Inc. INCredible Awards.
Thank you to SWFL Inc. for this incredible honor and for shining a light on the importance of caring for the most vulnerable members of our community.

You hear “1 in 10” a lot… but that number is unfortunately outdated.
A recent national study took a deeper dive into child sexual abuse in the U.S., specifically contact abuse, and the reality is harder to swallow. The estimate now points closer to 1 in 5 children.
Every year, more than 2,570 suspected cases of child abuse come through our doors at Collier CAC.
That number sits heavy.
That’s the work. And it doesn’t slow down.
Most people think they know what child abuse “looks like.” The truth? A lot of those assumptions are flat-out wrong.

Trauma-informed care starts with a simple idea that changes everything: what happened to you matters.
It helps them feel seen. It helps them heal. And over time, it helps them move forward.

On Friday, April 3 at 8 a.m., the Collier Children’s Advocacy Center is inviting the community to gather at Lowdermilk Park for “Pinwheels at the Pier,” and honestly, this is one of those moments where showing up matters more than people realize.

A huge thank you to Karen Coney Coplin for taking the time to truly see what’s happening here and put it into words in her piece for Life in Naples. Not just reporting, but really capturing the heart of it all. That’s rare.
