Certainly intense, but just a little wackier than the original
Felt like amping up the OG with some of the weirder things from Z Nation, TWD: Daryl Dixon, Overlord, & even the sci-fi madness of Wolfenstein
The zombies take the backseat, & I wish they stayed front and center
A somewhat above average low-budget indie. It definitely wanted that Mad Max connection, but at least it’s doing something a bit different.
Actually popular enough to get a sequel, too.
