I’ve discovered something incredible about Alba (Larsen) At the age of 15, Alba set up Girls International Racing Lab, a community aimed at helping young girls discover motorsport. Through this community, Alba organises events such as go-karting sessions, meet-ups…. By organising races, meet-ups and mentoring sessions with Alba and other role models, the initiative has already engaged over 400 girls and young women in Denmark alone & Alba’s goal for this year is to reach 15,000 girls around the world. In 2025, Alba received the FIA Women in Motorsport Award, as they recognised the impact G.I.R.L. was already having and the pathway it was starting to open up for young girls looking at racing for the first time follow the thread

Trying to make it seem like the whole team is against Lewis, and constantly playing the victim, aren’t you guys getting tired of it? Trying to make it seem like this only happens to Lewis to push your narrative, when they did the exact same thing to Charles, AT MONZA, when he was P9 in Q2. That being said, what Ferrari did to Lewis in Q3 today was indeed unacceptable. But constantly pushing this narrative is just embarrassing at this point.

Fred : « Je le comprends. Une des caractéristiques de Ferrari, c’est qu’il y a une émotion qui n’existe nulle part ailleurs. Quand on fait une bonne FP, on est champion ; quand on fait une mauvaise FP, il faut licencier la moitié de l’équipe. Mon travail, c’est de calmer cela. »

Fred : « Charles est lié à l'équipe et l'équipe est liée à Charles. Il a fait un excellent travail cette saison. Même lorsque nous avons dû faire face à des moments difficiles, il était là pour pousser l'équipe. Il a réalisé une saison exceptionnelle. » #F1

Vous qui êtes arrivé en 2023, c'est un peu votre projet qui se construit vraiment avec toutes les personnes que vous vouliez recruter, la mise en marche de votre équipe ? Fred : « (Agacé). Il faut arrêter de parler ainsi. Ce sont plus de 2000 personnes. » Mais c'est vous qui les guidez ? Fred : « Oui, mais que je construirai un peu plus l'année prochaine. Et je ne suis pas différent des autres équipes. On est tous dans ce trip-là. C'est vrai chez McLaren. C'est vrai pour Laurent chez Red Bull. Plus on reste, plus on met un peu de soi mais, je vous le répète, ce n'est pas mon projet. » #F1 #LEQUIPE

Fred : « This year, things are going in the wrong direction for us and in the right direction for Mercedes, but we keep fighting. Vous avez rejoint Ferrari en 2023. Qu'est-ce qui a changé depuis ? Fred : « Nous sommes un peu plus offensifs, nous prenons plus de risques en matière de développement pour innover. Nous avons beaucoup investi dans l'amélioration des stratégies et des arrêts aux stands. Les mécaniciens effectuent des milliers d'exercices, et ce n'est pas un hasard si nous figurons parmi les meilleurs. Nous faisons du bon travail, mais ce n'est pas encore suffisant. Can we please stop with this obsession with wanting Fred to leave the team? Hasn’t the past already taught you why Ferrari hasn’t won since 2008? WE NEED STABILITY! There’s no point in creating a new cycle every three years. That’s not how you build a winning team. Jean Todt had 6–7 years to put together a team that could win and dominate. Can we please give Fred some time and stop putting pressure on him every single season? And also, we are on an engine track. We need to stop acting surprised about the car’s overall performance and questioning Fred’s entire work. I’m not saying otherwise: the engine is TERRIBLE, that’s true. But what’s the point of repeating it CONSTANTLY? It’s not going to change anything. Most people have no idea what happened within the engine department over the winter. It was an EGO WAR. A real EGO WAR. It’s not solely Zimmermann’s or Gualtieri’s fault, but rather a problem within the engine department as a groupe, though not everyone was involved. There was a real EGO WAR. Fred completely restructured the chassis and aero departments. When he arrived in 2023, the engine department was absolutely not the problem. Aero, chassis, strategy, YES. The first car of the Vasseur era fought for the title all the way to Abu Dhabi, and we lost the championship because of mistakes from a certain driver. We shouldn’t forget what Fred has brought to the team. He is the one who brought Lewis to Ferrari. He is the one who got Charles to extend his contract. He is the one who got Carlos out. Yes, he has shortcomings when it comes to communication, but it’s his job to protect the team. At the beginning of the season, Stella defended his team, and not many people talked about the fact that McLaren, who were double world champions, had suddenly become the third-best team despite having a Mercedes engine. And also, can we please, for the love of God, stop with Horner? In terms of being a Team Principal, yes, he is probably better than Fred, but please don’t forget what happened with his assistant. Please never forget it. I would rather lose with dignity than win with that kind of individual. A lot of people seem to forget what Horner did, and that is unacceptable!
