No.one currently in CA gov is trustworthy, btime for new people. A fee limit of 50,000 isn't going to stimulate home construction. Term Limits for ALL. My opinion

Steve 👍 and here Bacerra at his best: promising to fight the 'villains' of Wall Street while fleecing and burdening teachers, firefighters, mom-and-pop owners, and small investors with exorbitant fees and red tape that make California housing unaffordable... 🤮🤦‍♂️

housing prices (mortgages or rents) are capped at 35% of gross monthly income of available buyers. that's the final say. if government takes away money (taxes/fees) or puts money in the house (subsidies), you still pay the same monthly rate. it's how the market operates

Anything Dems promise will never happen. Money will go into fraudsters pockets.

17 consecutive years of Democrat supermajority in California. How has that worked out for you all? Keep enjoying the unaffordability 😂

My Catholic Statement on this: Safe and affordable housing is part of the common good, because families need a stable place to raise children and neighbors need a fair chance to flourish. Public policy should remove needless barriers while honoring property rights, local responsibility, and the dignity of workers and the poor. May leaders seek practical solutions with honesty, subsidiarity, and compassion rather than turning housing into another partisan weapon.

50k in fees is ridiculous. These idiots created their own housing crisis.

How is this democrat going to build more houses? Does he work in construction? If houses are needed, you better believe that any contractor worth his salt is building houses to make that demand. What he really means is that he’s going to build housing for the drug addicts and the retards.

Doesn’t matter how much sense the Republican candidate makes, Californians are by and large gluttons for financial punishment with their voting selections.

Carrying water for that disgrace Xavier. He wants more high density housing..stressing our already over crowded cities, roads, hospitals and suburbs. Ca needs a new leader with new ideas. Vote for Steve Hilton! He has policies that will work for the average Californian.

Typical. @GOP says the solution is simple and will save you money but offers no specifics. It is easy and costs less. If it were easy and costs less wouldn't somebody have done it already? Regulation is NOT a four letter word.

Hilton is far superior but even if he does win the California legislature and regulatory apparatus will take away all his power.

One used to say that California is sliding down a slippery slope. They've fallen off the cliff. Becerra doesn't have to have a plan because idiot lemmings and voter fraud will get him elected. I would be shocked and thrilled if Forbes won.

Wait wait wait, Cali had a debate? I suppose I was focusing on important states like NH (my home state) instead of focusing on Cali. Let me guess (I haven’t seen this debate yet) it’s gonna be Hilton being a terrible candidate and Becerra being worse…
