It can’t officially be a Duke season without a foot injury of some sort.
Glad it’s now and not in January.
I have not really seen it reported here but my understanding is that Caleb Foster recently tweaked his ankle in a Duke practice and will miss some time. Still expected to be ready for the regular season but you will not see CFos against Belmont and Tennessee.

That said - the Giants are a MUCH improved team and Sunday is going to be a battle (it always is) and IMO) this is as a must win- you can’t be 1-4

Looking at this season - I think the majority of the (realistic) fans had this team right where they’re at.
Get a win Sunday - get back to 2-3.
All we have to do is stay within a game or 2 of 500 in our first 8 games - 2nd half is much more manageable.

It’s comical at this point.
Sucks for those fans that spent $ to go watch that game yesterday.
I'm struggling with how to feel after today's loss.
It is obviously true that it is hard to win in the NFL with your 3rd QB in the game. It is even harder when you also don't have your WR1. And it is still even harder than that when you additionally don't have your top two OL.
But can you just chalk up another disappointing result and another bad month to injuries? Wasn't that what we did last season?
Also, there's a difference between losing and getting blown out and their last two losses have been by 17 points.
Hard not to be frustrated by being non-competitive as games go on. Out-scored 40-17 in their last two losses after halftime.
Which isn't even to speak to the penalties. Seven pre-snap offensive penalties over two games. Unavoidable. Maddening.

Well… that was ugly on many different levels.
Feel bad for our fans who travelled across the pond to watch that. But I know overall they still had fun!
