Section 165 of the Evidence Act expressly empowers judges to question witnesses on relevant or irrelevant facts to uncover the truth. You dont get to decide what questions the judge can, or cannot, ask!! Perhaps your real problem isn’t that Justice Prasad asked questions, but that you would rather have had the judicial proceedings turn into political theatre and the cockroaches continuing with their chaos. Thankfully, the courtroom is not your TV studio.
INTERESTING: The Delhi High Court judge seemed more interested in the age of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka than their personal liberty . By the way, Judge Saheb, Saurav is born in Jan 2000 so is very much Gen Z. And Ashutosh is 31. By the way, what difference does age make here is beyond me. 🙏

CJP story so far: 2 savarna patriarchists, misled & gaslighted an innocent young dalit man, to drop out of college. They then proceeded to treat him like a servant and ordered him around…and now he’s brainwashed into thinking servitude is freedom.

The Economist seems to have misplaced its editorial standards somewhere between reporting on India and campaigning against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. So typical of the foreign lobby against India! None of journalism's responsibilities are fulfilled by packaging a political prosecution brief with an insulting tonality as a magazine’s social media teaser. And “voters accepted that” is a particularly revealing flourish. Indian voters have preferences, judgments and reasons of their own. Their choices do not require validation from a London editorial desk.
Narendra Modi’s party had used sleazy political tactics and its control of institutions to break up rival state parties and lure away their lawmakers. Voters accepted that. Under dispute now is whether the game itself is fixed economist.com/asia/2026/10/1…

Warm birthday greetings to Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji. His administrative understanding has ensured India’s internal security systems become more effective. Particularly noteworthy are the successes in eliminating the menace of Maoism and in furthering our dream of a society free from drugs. I pray that he is blessed with a long and healthy life in service of the people. @AmitShah

Kejriwal and Mann have insulted the people of Punjab! AAP must answer: Why were these purchases not declared at Customs when its Chief Minister was enjoying a holiday in Paris at taxpayers’ expense? - Shoes worth ₹2.5 lakh. - Perfumes worth lakhs. - Expensive jewellery and designer suits. Kejriwal looted the people of Delhi to build his lavish Sheesh Mahal. Now Mann is looting the people of Punjab through expensive holidays! Instead of fighting the drug mafia, AAP is busy holidaying in Paris! To save Punjab, AAP must go!

Trigger for this post is thanks to @scribe9104. Those who watch Ghoomta Aina, would know. 1. Population of Bharat has grown 22.5% since 2011. These are projections since no census has happened after 2011. 2. In 2011, the medical seats across all colleges in Bharat for MBBS courses were 41,569, across 335 colleges. 3. In 2027, the total number of seats are 1,40,660 in 839 colleges. 4. The jump in the seats has been 238%. 5. The population growth also needs a finer examination because the GC are less than 30% and within the overall matrix, the GC reproduce lesser than others. 6. The space now available to get admitted into a medical college for a GC is 8.8 times bigger, ie 49,545 more seats have been added (assuming 50% cap on reservations and including 10% EWS quota in GC share). 7. So, the allegedly 'anti-GC' Modi govt has really killed the future of GCs in Bharat! THINK AGAIN. 8. And if your doubts persist, run a check for engineering and management seats too. @narendramodi @AmitShah

Since Sanjay Raut Has Chosen Not to Mend His Ways, We Have No Option but to Approach the Ld. Attorney General of India ⚖️🇮🇳 Tomorrow, we will write to the Ld. Attorney General of India regarding the conduct of @rautsanjay61. Despite a recent show-cause notice issued to him by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in a criminal contempt matter, he has shown no intention of mending his ways. Instead, he has posted about the burning of Albania’s Supreme Court by protesters, said that the court was helping “corrupt prime ministers,” and declared that all countries, especially India, should “learn a lesson” from these events. Glorifying violence against constitutional institutions, while already facing contempt proceedings, reflects a continuing disregard for the dignity of the Supreme Court and the rule of law. Democratic dissent is a right, advocating or celebrating attacks on courts and public institutions is not. The Hon’ble Supreme Court cannot be intimidated. We will place the full facts before the Ld. Attorney General for appropriate action under the law. ⚖️🇮🇳
@rautsanjay61, How Dare You Threaten the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India? Delete This Post Immediately, Else You Will Face Further Legal Action! ⚖️🇮🇳 The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has issued a show-cause notice to you in a criminal contempt matter, and now you are glorifying the burning of the Supreme Court and attacks on public institutions in Albania, ending with “Especially 🇮🇳”. This reflects a disturbing disregard for the dignity of the Supreme Court and shows that you are willing to go to any extent to promote anarchy and intimidate constitutional institutions. Is this an attempt to threaten the Supreme Court into acting according to your wishes, or a message suggesting that India should face similar violence if the Court does not? Let this be absolutely clear, the Supreme Court of India cannot be intimidated by threats, and no individual is above the Constitution or the law. Democratic dissent is a right; glorifying violence against constitutional institutions is not a licence to undermine the rule of law. Withdraw this message and delete the post. Do not mistake the patience of a constitutional democracy for weakness. 🇮🇳

Don’t type an essay, just answer a simple question…. Do you support the regime change gang??? Don’t play politics with my country’s future. You think by saying you are not a “B Team” you have cracked a fast one, let me tell you the team that you are batting with drown your past in the same kachara that you wanted to or at least pretended to fight till now. Congrats you have officially joined the garbage dump!!!!
In 2011, then Gujarat Chief Minister Thiru @narendramodi avl said that if his hands were not tied, he would have gone to Delhi and waged war against the central government. Thiru Narendra Modi avl made this statement in response to the police crackdown on the peaceful anti-corruption campaign led at Ramlila Maidan, Delhi. In my opinion, what the Hon PM said then was absolutely right, and there is nothing wrong about it. Today, you could be jailed indefinitely; your surety bonds could be rejected; and, surprisingly, a Special Executive Magistrate will play circles around you when he/ she is empowered to deal with preventive bond cases. If you question the violation of due process of law in a democracy, you would be called names, and a barrage of attacks would follow, including being labelled a Foreign Agent. Ever since I asked the Central Government to speak with the protestors during the NEET exam protests, I have faced constant attacks, but I let them pass because I felt it was important to focus on the issues on the ground in Tamil Nadu. I also, in a way, enjoyed this as it would quickly remove the tag of me being a BJP B Team and sent to TN as a Dhurandhar 😍 Yesterday during a press meeting, I questioned the Delhi Police’s methods of detaining protestors of CJP. Since yesterday, the attacks have resumed, as expected. For some in the BJP, let me make this categorically clear, in case you have selective amnesia: I left the BJP on June 5, 2026. As I mentioned yesterday, I might not agree with the tactics of the CJP, and I think many of theirs are misguided. But if you ask me whether they have a right to oppose/argue/protest on an issue that they think is important? I would categorically say - YES. So, I would like people to ask the questions again, even if it makes some of them uncomfortable, and I wish the Central Government would answer them instead of resorting to whataboutism. 1.How was Jantar Mantar denotified as a protest site as per a standing order of the Ministry of Home Affairs after a letter was handed over by CJP seeking permission to conduct a protest? 2.How long can we have a system that gives powers to an Asst Commissioner of Police as a Special Executive Magistrate who rules over whether to keep someone in preventive detention? The ACP of Delhi Police stands over the trial where Delhi Police is the complainant against the accused CJP. Now you know which way the wind will blow. 3.On October 19th, why did the Special Executive Magistrate, aka ACP of Delhi Police, deliberately arrive late for the bail hearing of those who were arrested from Jantar Mantar on October 13th and recuse himself, saying there is a threat to his life? Is this some kind of a joke? 4.Why were 8 sureties rejected, and why was the person who came for surety subjected to cross-examination by the Special Executive Magistrate? 5. Any action taken on pellet gun usage by the Delhi police or other actions on Delhi police who have violated the standard operating procedures against the protesters during the NEET fiasco stir? Has no BJP karyakarta in Delhi violated any bond conditions during the previous Congress and AAP governments. I trust the same Delhi police were then also when barricades were jumped and orders disobeyed? How were they dealt with then? Like this? Definitely - NO. Now I hear that the detained functionaries of CJP were released by SEM after the case reached the High Court. I also recently saw a cockroach effigy burned as part of the Dusshera celebrations. Out of curiosity, I tried to find out who is giving this free publicity at a National level. No surprises here. It was led by a BJP MLA, Ashok Goel. My question again is: is the BJP opposing the CJP or giving it free publicity? Does it want the opposition votes to split by making CJP a bigger player? At this rate, the CJP couldn’t have asked for a better PR team, even if it had paid for one! (1/2)
