Another day, another CSCU resignation. CCSU Pres. Dr. Zulma Toro announced her resignation after accusations of bullying staff and allegations of employees cutting her food and watching her dog. It's the same system and the same pattern of corruption, yet no accountability.

Former CSCU Chancellor Terrence Cheng billed taxpayers for pricey meals and chauffeured rides, then collected $442,000 for a year as a "special advisor" and turned in a report that was mostly written by AI. His replacement, John Maduko, resigned amid a sexual harassment investigation. Connecticut’s students deserve better than this.

This week we're giving you a front-row seat to the Lamont administration's culture of corruption. Bribery convictions, chancellor scandals and sky-high electric rates. Connecticut taxpayers keep picking up the tab while Gov. Lamont looks the other way. First up, Gov. Lamont's former deputy budget director. He was convicted on 21 counts of bribery and extortion, then skipped his sentencing last week to jet off to Greece. Now he's giving TV interviews from the Mediterranean while Connecticut taxpayers are left holding the bill.
