A guy on Bitcointalk drew this in Excel in 2013 when bitcoin was $25. He never touched it again. It’s still 100% right ,let's see what it predicts... On the 13th Feb 2013 a user called dacoinminster dumps whatever price history he can find into a spreadsheet, lets Excel fit a power trendline, and writes it down: Price = 4.42 × 10⁻¹⁷ × (days since Jan 3, 2009)^5.6 He wasn’t building a theory of money. He was arguing 2011 had been the bubble and 2013 wasn’t. The line said about $27 that week. Price was $25. Nobody refit it. No “updated for this cycle.” Same two numbers for 13 and a half years. Let's take a look at how this formula predicts Bitcoin's price in the near future. Detailed explanation in first comment below and see chart as well pls. 👇👇👇

The Dacoinminster Powerlaw clearly shows Bitcoin already bottomed. Here is why... But first Screenshot this. Come back in a year. Back in 2013, some anonymous guy on a Bitcoin forum wrote down a formula and never touched it again. No updates. No quietly moving the target when price didn't cooperate. Just one equation: price = a stupidly precise number × (days since Bitcoin's birthday) raised to the power of 5.6. Thirteen years later, that formula is still running. I charted how far real price strayed from it every single year, and a pattern jumps out that's hard to unsee. Every time BTC has dropped double digits below that curve, it's marked the bottom of that cycle. 2015. 2016. 2022. Each time, the "Bitcoin is dead" crowd showed up right on schedule. Each time, they were early to the funeral. We're sitting about 16% under the curve right now. That's not what a top looks like. That's the exact shape of every bottom this thing has ever printed. I'm not telling you to set a calendar reminder. I'm telling you the one model that's been quietly right for over a decade, without a single edit, is flashing the same signal it flashed three times before.

BITCOIN WILL HIT OVER 500K DURING NEXT BULL RUN PEAK Full explanation and background in first comment 2013 top: 16x the line. 2017: 9x. 2021: 4x. 2025: 1.8x. Same line. Nobody updated it. Some guy on Bitcointalk got it out of Excel when bitcoin was $25. 2029 on the chart is just the next four-year slot if that shrinking keeps up. That’s a guess. The four bars on the left aren’t.

A line drawn in Feb 2013 when BTC was just $25. Never refit. Never “updated for the cycle.” Just Excel’s original power trendline, extended forward. Thirteen years later it’s sitting at $93.6k. Spot is $83.8k, about 0.90x the curve after this month’s bounce. This is the best and most efficient powerlaw I have ever found, it was discovered in 2013 by a user called the Dacoinminster, thus I called it this way in the indicator. It still uses his original calculations from back then and is still most effective. UNBELIEVABLE.

Every major Bitcoin rally had a flow surge before it. Every major correction had outflows first. $57.5 billion in Bitcoin ETF net inflows since January 2024. Three charts. Nearly three years of data. Here is what it shows. The monthly flow chart tells you exactly where institutional money went and when. February and March 2024, Bitcoin's first post-ETF surge. October to December 2024, the post-election wave that peaked at $6.5 billion in November alone. July 2025, another burst of $6 billion. Each green cluster was followed by a Bitcoin price rally. Each red cluster, February to March 2025 at minus $3.6 billion, June 2026 at minus $4.5 billion, the worst month on record, coincided with significant price drawdowns. The cumulative chart is the one that silences the noise. $57.5 billion flowing into regulated, SEC-filed Bitcoin ETFs since launch. The line rises, pauses, dips slightly during corrections, then rises again. That is not speculation. That is structural allocation. The third chart shows the extremes. The single largest inflow day in history was November 7 2024 at $1.37 billion, the day after the US election. The largest outflow was February 25 2025 at minus $1.1 billion. September 21 2026 at $999M sits ninth on the all-time list, just below events that moved Bitcoin by tens of thousands of dollars. The pattern across the full dataset is consistent. The months with the heaviest inflows preceded or coincided with Bitcoin's biggest price moves. The months with the heaviest outflows marked the corrections. The ETF data has not predicted every move, but it has tracked every major one. 404 green days. 274 red days. $57.5 billion net.

A thread further analysis this DacoinMinster Powerlaw and extrapolating the price action for the next 10 years. 👇

Today that formula says $97k. Spot’s around $84k. So we’re a bit under it, not through it. Run the same formula forward and you get: Jan 2030: $251k Sep 2036: $1.19M That’s just time in the equation. No extra assumptions. The zigzag on the chart is the extra assumption. Bitcoin doesn’t sit on the line. It overshoots and dumps around it. The overshoots have been getting smaller though: 2013 top was something like 16x the line. 2017 about 9x. 2021 about 4x. Oct 2025 about 1.8x. Bottoms have been hanging around half to three-quarters of the line. 2022 was roughly 0.6x. This year’s low wasn’t far off that. So if that pattern keeps going, and if the next two halvings still set the clock (2028, then 2032), a reasonable sketch looks like: late 2029 top: $510k (call it 2.15x the line) 2030–31 low: $175k (about 0.55x) 2033 top: $1.14M (about 1.8x) 2034–35 low: $456k Those dates can easily be wrong. The line is the part that actually has a 13-year track record. The tops and bottoms are just “this is how it’s circled the line before.” Why people still talk about this: later power-law fits all land in the same neighborhood, exponents around 5.6 to 5.8. He got 5.6 in 2013 with Excel. That’s the whole trick. A model you keep recalibrating can’t be tested. This one can, because he posted the coefficients when a coin was twenty-five bucks. It will be wrong if price parks under 0.5x that line for a long time and doesn’t come back. Until then it’s the same curve from a forum post. Chart is the 2013 formula in orange, real highs and lows in black, and that next-10-year path in blue. Attach that. Don’t write “$1 million incoming.” The insane part is already in the first sentence.

$2.25 billion in Bitcoin ETF inflows across four consecutive days this week Sep 21: $999M. Sep 22: $715M. Sep 23: $347M. Sep 24: $191M. The pace is slowing from the record Monday, which is normal after a surge of that size. What matters is that the streak is holding. Four straight positive sessions with no outflow day in between. Bitcoin is holding $84,300. The pullback from the $86,400 peak is orderly and shallow against the scale of inflows that drove it there. The chart shows the full picture from August 17. The red cluster mid-September was the Fed week selloff. What came after it is the story.

📊 Why the Dacoinminster Power Law Has Aged Better Than Stock-to-Flow In 2019, PlanB's Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model took over crypto Twitter, predicting BTC would follow scarcity-driven exponential growth. It called for $55K by 2021... then $100K... then $288K, as PlanB kept re-fitting the model (S2F, then S2FX) whenever price didn't match. By 2022, even Vitalik Buterin was calling S2F out publicly after BTC crashed far below its predictions, and PlanB himself admitted the model "may be less useful in the future." Compare that to the Dacoinminster Power Law, quietly posted on a Bitcointalk forum back in 2013: Price = 4.42×10⁻¹⁷ × (days since Jan 3, 2009)^5.6 No revisions. No new "adjusted" variants. No goalpost-moving. The exact same formula from 2013 is still being plotted today, over a decade of bull runs, crashes, halvings, and regime changes later, and it's still in the same ballpark as reality.

What do you say to someone who asks you how much Bitcoin you have? I ask them how much money do they have in their bank account. Most say, sorry? But that is rude? Then I tell them, it's the same rudeness to ask someone how much Bitcoin he owes

What happened to the 15% BTC (around 600 Bitcoin) which the "whitehat" hackers kept from the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain run by Blockstream. I remember reading somewhere that the hackers were told to return everything and that their digital footprints would lead law enforcement to them? But were they caught? Can we have updates please? The public deserves answers to know how secure these platforms are after all. @adam3us @pwuille @TheBlueMatt @Blockstream @Liquid_BTC

📊 The Dacoinminster Power Law, Bitcoin's OG Growth Model Back in 2013, an anonymous Bitcointalk user known as "Dacoinminster" proposed something wild: Bitcoin's price isn't random, it grows as a mathematical power of time since the genesis block (Jan 3, 2009). Plot it on a log-log chart, and over a decade of boom-bust cycles snaps into a strikingly straight line. The formula he came up with: Price = 4.42×10⁻¹⁷ × (days since genesis)^5.6 🗓️ Today: $95,500 🗓️ 2030: $246,600 🗓️ +10 years (2036): $1.17M 🗓️ +20 years (2046): $6.56M Looking at the chart, actual price has swung wildly around the curve for over a decade, sometimes 5x above it (2017, 2021 peaks), sometimes below it (2015, 2018, 2022 bears). Right now, price sits below the model's line, which is exactly the zone power-law we the believers watch for, since every past dip below the curve was eventually followed by price reverting back up toward or above it.

Bitget got hacked Have been saying this for a long time... Remove your Bitcoin from exchanges and use Paper wallets: Generate a Bitcoin private key (or seed phrase) and print it on paper. The paper itself contains the information needed to recover the Bitcoin. Put your paper somewhere safe. Easy. I have never trusted hardware wallets and the recent Coldcard hardware wallet hack proved me right.
