Were you affected by the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires? FEMA Rental Assistance and Continued Temporary Housing Assistance remain available to eligible survivors previously approved for FEMA Individual Assistance (IHP). The Rental Assistance deadline is approaching. Be sure to apply by October 9, 2026. Homeowner assistance remains available through July 9, 2027. Eligible survivors should contact FEMA at (800) 621-3362 or visit DisasterAssistance.gov for additional support.

This convening marked the 10-year anniversary of its nation-leading red flag law in California, empowering families, communities, and law enforcement to act on warning signs and prevent gun violence.

Cal OES and Ready California continued the Regional Disaster Ready Summits in Long Beach and Ontario, and the Reduce the Risk Campaign hosted a statewide gun violence prevention convening honoring individuals and organizations who have helped develop, promote, and support the state’s Gun Violence Restraining Order efforts.
