Just been informed our GGPL fixtures today has been cancelled as the league could not supply a referee for the game. Extremely dissapointing for the boys who have trained twice this week looking forward to a game on Saturday.

Disappointed in having to call our game off today Vs EKYM due to the league not being able to provide another referee despite us being told at beginning of week 😔 The club has paid a substantial amount of money for an AstroTurf which will now be lost to having no game @GGPAFL

Calderglen AFC would like to encourage anyone who supports our ambitious plan to introduce an all weather playing facility into the village to either attend Community Council meeting on Tues 3rd (7.30 pm in bowling club) or submit a formal response to RDC via their process.

The trustees of the charity are made up of mainly local volunteers or those with a strong connection to the village. All we want to do is leave a lasting legacy for the kids & adults of tomorrow.

A minute silence will be held before todays home game as a tribute to ex player, manager and Calderglen legend Tam McGinley who sadly recently passed away.
2pm Kick off.
Tam was loved and respected by many generations at the club and will be sadly missed.
