AI speeds things up, I could spend 3 days sculpting & texturing a boar head to put on a wall as a decorative element. Or ask the AI to do it in 5 min. Nothing unethical about saving time.

I've spent weeks creating pre-rendered backgrounds. A fixed panning camera demands a level of attention to detail that 3D environments simply don’t provide. Not to mention, half the work happens in Photoshop.

Being a casual is a good thing. Allows you to look at it objectively without being personally invested in it succeeding. If it was called Last Banana 7, different characters & world, same plot structure. You'd probably also see the problems. Even the dog talking is not ideal.

Looks like garbage.
Realistic lighting with cartoony characters is always a bad look. The realism isn't very nice either, covered in bloom and fog. Which makes everything look washed out or bright like a light bulb. Very badly color graded.

The party already has a kid personality - Yuffie.
Red XIII would have been better as the wise guide. It's bad. Except for Cloud and Tifa, everyone acts like they're 12. Speaks out loud, no depth, no maturity. Red could have balanced the scale, been the Auron of Remake.
