I mainly just complain about everything nowadays with the occasional funny tweet.

You can't even stay in this house these days without somehow spending money. Life is too fucking expensive.

I wish I'd have bought a house in 1953 instead of not existing.

Working full time in this economy: Work all month. Work hard. Do overtime. Get paid. Pay rent. Pay bills. Do a food shop. Then spend the next three weeks absolutely broke wondering where the fuck all of your money went and if you actually went to work.

If working full time actually paid the bills, most of us would be chilled. You can work your absolute hardest and still end up broke a week after payday. You can't win. Food costs a fortune, rent is ridiculous, and wages just aren't moving with the cost of living. Full time workers shouldn't be living paycheck to paycheck but here we are, living in a country where you work nonstop and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Shout out to all the single as fuck people in bed before 10pm on a weekend, eating snacks, watching Netflix and scrolling through reels while wondering if this is peace or the start of dying alone with 10 cats.

Why only young people? They've fucked us all.
🚨BREAKING: Andy Burnham will announce a new scheme next week called "Your First Home", which plans to allow young people to buy their first home with a deposit as low as 2.5%

Dating in 2026 really be like: "I still live with my ex but it's okay because we put pillows between us when we sleep"

How has the UK become so expensive? How is a bottle of water costing me over £2? How is it costing me over £100 to fill the car? How is my weekly food shop for one costing me over £80? How has rent gone from £450 a month to £900 a month on a 1 bedroom flat? How is a hotel £100 a night? How is a haircut £25? How is a weekend away costing more than leaving the country? How is fish and chips now £15? How are driving lessons £50 an hour? How is parking some places about £15 an hour? How is a pint about £7? You can't even leave the house without spending at least £60 The UK is absolutely finished.

People who drive 30 in a 60 need their licenses taking off them. Honestly what is actually going through their heads? And why do they then proceed to go 40 when they get to a 30 road?

I can't believe it's almost October already. I guess time really does fly when you work everyday and your whole life is falling apart.

Dating nowadays is impossible. Everyone's either still not over their ex. Living with their ex. Talking to 5 other people. Dating 4 people at the same time. Or wanting the benefits of a relationship without being in a relationship.

For Halloween this year I'm putting a vending machine outside my house. Rent is expensive, fuel is expensive, food is expensive and somehow I'm still expected to hand out free sweets to every child on the street. Times are hard and I've got bills to pay.

Landlords in 2026: “I need £1000 deposit, £1000 first month’s rent, £1000 last month’s rent, a £199 admin fee, a £89 processing fee and another fee I haven’t invented yet.” “I will also need your payslips for the last 8 years, bank statements, employment history, 12 references, 6 guarantors, your credit score, a DNA test and a letter from your employer promising you won’t lose your job for the next 10 years and remember to tell me if you get a pay rise so I can increase your rent” Then you’re then handed the keys to a £1,000 a month shoebox with mould on the walls, a kitchen from the 1970's, windows that don’t open, a boiler that’s been “getting replaced” since 2009 and a bathroom fan that sounds like a fucking airplane taking off.

The year is 2042, the retirement age is 90, fuel is £8 per litre, rent is now £3000 a month minimum, if you earn minimum wage you now need 2 full time jobs to afford to exist, pints are £28 each, the tax threshold still hasn't changed, a weekly food shop costs £300, people can only afford to use electric for a few hours a day, there's more potholes on the roads than there is craters in the moon, a takeaway costs £80, the HS2 still isn't finished, England still haven't won a world cup, a Freddo costs £17 and they're still doing roadworks on the motorway.
