Yet even in sun drenched Florida, tourism dollars decreased in 2025-26 thanks to Canadians choosing to travel elsewhere. As someone who worked in the tourism industry for over 30 yrs, make no mistake, less tourism dollars hurt local economies, just ask Las Vegas.
