Before CIP-116, Featured App status on Canton relied on Foundation review alone. After it, apps now have to back that status with real capital. Featured Apps now lock $CC to maintain their designation, 5M CC for non-issuers, 25M CC for asset issuers, with a 60-day unlock period. If you fall below the threshold, your status is revoked.
