i interviewed a few new grads asking for $150k+ salary and had them to ssh into a server
three sent me their ssh private keys, two never heard of it, one tried to rdp the host, one gave me their computer's teamviewer token. some of them are phd btw.

Ended the day with finishing The Internet Stack by Amrit Tiwana. Would definitely recommend to my non technical friends who have an interest in scratching the surface about the internet. Once again another good read completed in 2026!

I like how Gitlab tracks commits on non default branches in the contributions heatmap (without needing to merge)
