But the younger we allow ppl to transition, the more risk we are running of kids making an irrevocable choice before they fully understand the consequences.

I think her new look is good, though it definitely feels a bit softer and cutesier and less chic.
I think the bigger issue is her posture. She's pulled back and not looking up anymore. She looks less like a teenager/young adult killing time at her boring job.
