I chose my Hermes pet as Friday, then made it escape the UI and its now running on my @opengotchi lol
But the real thesis is bigger: OpenGotchi could be a tiny physical I/O layer for Hermes.
Hermes → Gotchi: status, cron alerts, generated apps, memory-backed moods
Gotchi → Hermes: buttons, gestures, quick skill triggers, voice commands
Agents need bodies. Not humanoids, useful little programmable companions.
Your Hermes Agent can now adopt an animated pet: a small sprite that reacts to what the agent is doing (idle, running a tool, thinking, waiting, finishing, failing) in the GUI or TUI.
