Yesterday, 113 Gazan patients and their escorts left through the Kerem Shalom crossing in a coordinated medical evacuation. Through Jordan, these patients will fly to a third country to receive medical treatment, coordinated by COGAT in full cooperation with the UN and the international community.
In addition, the Rafah Border Crossing has remained operational. To date, roughly 6,300 people have entered, and 6,600 have exited Gaza via the border crossing since the start of the ceasfire.
Israel remains committed to coordinating the appropriate medical response for the Gazan civilian population, and will continue coordinating medical evacuations together with the WHO.
