Hi everyone 💖 Important information about my current health situation below! 😔 First, let me assure you that I'll do my best to keep up my posting and interaction frequency, but just in case something happens, here's a wall of text regarding that subject (sorry in advance for the long read)! This is not something I talk about often and most of you probably don't even know about my medical condition. I have Syringomyelia, which is a rare neurological disorder in which a fluid-filled cyst called a syrinx forms within the spinal cord. As the syrinx grows and elongates over time, it puts pressure on the spinal cord and damages nerve fibers! I've had this condition since 2009 and there's currently no known cure for it. Only about 1 out of 100.000 people have this. You can look it up online, if you want to know more. These last few weeks I've not been feeling too great... I've had constant strong headache and neck pain/stiffness and feeling quite weak and dizzy most of the time. I know my best option is to visit the neural specialist hospital I usually go to and have an MRI Scan performed, to see if my syrinx is getting worse/bigger. But because I've lost about 15 Paid Members (which is about 1/3 down since spring) over the last 6 months or so, I'm already struggling with my economy and MRI scans are not that cheap, as you might or might not know... 😢 I really don't like mentioning this, but now seems like a very important time to do it, as I want to be able to continue posting my Cuties here and sharing my passion with you all!
