How we made our 533km a success.
Two weeks ago I engaged my fellow boda riders. Asked them if we can do a Mt kenya round tour. A few were a little bit skeptical. Bike imezoea kufanya a maximum of 100kms and day will it do 500? Well I gave them a reason to try it. In life if you don't try, you'll never know how it goes.
The main agenda was we spread the gospel of road safety along the route, interact with other bodaboda riders along the way. Get to know how they operate from their side.
Fast forward we assembled ourselves at shell kenyatta avenue, gave a route course and plan. We Africans. When it comes to time management we will never beat the allegations. If you want to meet an African at 2pm, tell them we are meeting at 12am.
At 8:30 we were cruising out. We passed @JuicyTreatsKE got ourselves some powerful energizing juices. He prayed for us and wished us a safe journey.
I had a small problem with my bike. I had to let them go as I get a mech to help me open my fuel tank.

Near Talanta Stadium, Kenol Stage this morning — a speeding car flew off the road, over the pavement and into a mound. A lady waiting for a Ngong matatu was hit unaware. Her arm was severed. She died on the spot. The front passenger never even blinked. Gone too.
The driver was drunk. He stumbled out of the wreck still holding a bottle. Two more bottles were found. Two other passengers were rushed to hospital injured.
How many times will we keep saying “it was just one drink”? How many innocent people waiting by the roadside must pay for someone else’s recklessness? When do we finally stay alert — every single time?
