Not much noise nowadays on the ₹2000 monthly cashback from a certain debit card. That is good though!

The rupee is now around ₹96 to the dollar. Suddenly that boring line in a credit card MITC: “Forex markup: 3.5% + GST” looks a lot more important than it used to. Zero-forex cards picked a good time to become mainstream.

Don’t know how else to say this but Google AI Search has pretty much made websites a dead duck. You can write and write, Google just shows the answer at the top as an AI result. No point in investing so much time nowadays!

Still find this IDFC FIRST move quite interesting. Zero forex markup across ALL its credit cards. Even the basic cards. The good part is international spends continuing earning rewards. This is somewhat an USP now. 0% forex is becoming less of a premium-card feature now.

Apple Pay is finally coming to India next month. 👀 Axis Bank is reportedly set to be the first credit card partner. No UPI initially. Just cards and tap-to-pay. It took Apple Pay 12 years to reach India, but well… better late than never.

Apple Pay is FINALLY coming to India, and the launch is MUCH closer than anticipated. 👀 Reported Launch: October First Banking Partner: Axis Bank (Visa + Mastercard) In Talks: HDFC and ICICI There's already evidence of Apple Pay inching closer to its India launch. 🇮🇳 On iPhones set to the US region, "Add Card" in Apple Wallet now shows a splash screen for the Axis partnership... and YES, it reads my Atlas. It even goes all the way to the final step before timing out, suggesting the integration is already being worked on. That's PROGRESS, and honestly, it's about damn time. I can't wait for HDFC to get on board so I can finally add my Infinia to Apple Pay. 🔥

Amazon Pay Physical Gift Cards are back at 2% OFF! amazon.in/dp/B0CC5Z81JK amazon.in/dp/B0CC61KG56 amazon.in/dp/B0CC62PNR7 amazon.in/dp/B0HKZDGYRD The 2% discount is good, but the better play is stacking it with credit card rewards. SBI Cashback, Axis Cashback, BOBCARD Eterna and other cashback cards can be useful. Premium cards like Infinia, DCB and M4B can work well too, especially for regular rewards or milestone spends. MCCs seen on these transactions include: • AMAZONPAYIND → 5262 • ASSPL → 5399 • AMAZON PAY INDIA PRIVATE → 5262/5399 Check the MCC/rewards after your first order just to verify that it is the same as above before ordering more. These are physical Gift Cards, not instant digital GVs. They are delivered by courier and can be activated after delivery. Once added to your Amazon Pay balance, you can use it for eligible utilities, insurance, mobile/broadband bills, fees, Amazon purchases and merchant payments. If the credit card payment option disappears, try reducing the quantity. Amazon's limits can vary by account. These have been going OOS quickly, so grab them while they are available. Part 1️⃣ 💳How I received "AU Zenith+ as LTF" 🥳 ✨I closed my AU Ivy account in August'25 ✨By visiting branch & submitting physical form ✨Given a full page Acknowledgement also ✨Account wasn't closed though 😜 ✨Kept receiving Emails for Penalty/Downgrade ✨Subsequently AU Ivy was downgraded to AU Platinum account in Oct-Nov'25 ✨Raised a strong Email in Dec'25 to AU CS demanding a compensation of 50K for the lapse 🫥They couldn't find my Ac closure form too ✨A branch person came Home to fulfill Ac closure request again via filling Physical form ✨Received a Call from AU CS in Jan'26 for closure of my complaint ✨Was offered ₹5000 worth Amazon Pay or any GV of choice as a goodwill gesture 😐 🚨I denied that & requested for issuance of Zenith+ CC as LTF instead on recorded line ✨They sent the complaint closure email in Jan'26 with CC as LTF mentioned in email subject to tncs+tagged branch BM name 😁 🤙I pushed for Zenith+ LTF to branch BM every month. She kept delaying by telling that pin code will be serviceable in April'26 mid week 🤙Nothing moved forward & my Calls were falling on DEAF ears, not being picked even 👑Ultimately I escalated to RBI BO with each n every detail along with email proof in Aug'26 👑Bank tried to play OVERSMART by replying to BO that my pin codes aren't serviceable yet, so request can't be accepted 👑BO reverted asking for additional proofs if any 👑Luckily I started receiving pre-approved AU Anantha & Zenith CC offers by this time from AU authorised Emails 🤪 👑Replied to BO attaching these Emails as proof 👑End Result: LTF Zenith+ issued within days 👑 📌Note 👑This trick may work with any bank, if lucky Part 1️⃣ I know isn't possible for most people Part 2️⃣ is being Posted via QT to this Post 😍 Like ❤️ n Repost ♻️ if useful #CreditCard #CCgeek #AU #ZenithPlus #LTF

Ise kahte hain "Bahti Ganga mein Hath Dhona" HDFC Bank Employees working on Sunday 🫪
This is surprising! Why is HDFC Bank opening on Sunday, 27 September 2026. Wasn't this supposed to be only for PSBs that are going on the 3 days strike?

Well, this was unexpected. We received a trademark complaint asking us to remove all references to Axis Bank from a page covering its credit cards. We’ve taken the page down for now. We clearly disclose that we’re not affiliated with any bank. If simply writing about credit cards starts attracting notices like this, you do wonder how long it makes sense to keep running an independent website. If this keeps happening, we may as well shut down the entire website.

Accor+ Explorer gets pricier from Oct 1. 📈 ₹19,499 → ₹23,199 for new memberships. Existing members can retain the old renewal price for one more year if auto-renewal is enabled by Sep 30 and kept active till renewal. At ₹23K, we think the value depends mainly on whether you can use the 2 Stay Plus free nights well. 🏨 Each benefit needs a 2-night stay: 1 free night + 1 paid night. And the paid night officially cannot be settled using ALL Reward Points. You also get Gold status, 30 status nights, 15% off stays, up to 30% off dining and Red Hot Room deals. If you stay at expensive Accor properties, Explorer can still make sense. If you mainly want the hotel and dining discounts, ₹23K is much harder to justify. 💳 You can also get complimentary Accor+ through Amex Platinum Reserve, Amex Platinum Charge and HDFC BizBlack. Important: these card-linked memberships do not include the 2 Stay Plus free nights of the paid Explorer membership, so don’t value them at ₹23K. Our take 👇 If you have 2 good Stay Plus redemptions planned, Explorer can still work. Already have an eligible card? Use the complimentary membership first. Planning to buy Explorer anyway? Buying before Oct 1 saves ₹3700.

The prices during the last Bhima deal were a steal! The current deal has retail prices marginally lower than the market prices. Pass for this time.

Credit card users have developed a new skill. Whenever a benefit looks too good, nobody asks: “How do I maximise this?” The first question is: “How long before they devalue it?” 😂

HSBC T1: 2 RP/₹100 on regular spends. Infinia: 5 RP/₹150. Transfer both to Accor: T1: ~4.37% Infinia: ~3.6% So yeah… on this math, T1 actually comes out ahead. 😌

7.5% back on fuel spends at IndianOil and easier to get unlike the Octane card. You should get this card if your fuel spends are more than 10K a month. cardmaven.in/go/rblioclxtra
